When I scheduled my pickup for the truck I was sent a confirmation with the address of pickup. When I arrived at the location for pickup I was told that the store was only for dropping off trucks. I was then redirected to a location that was 15 miles away. Once I picked up the truck I was never told that this location was a one way so after moving all day I was told at my local U-Haul I would have to return the truck to the location we picked it up at. So I had to drive back a extra 50 miles which was basically an extra 50 $because no one explained it was a one way rental.Katherine T.

The equipment was fine. It met my needs. U-Haul as a company is what I'm struggling with. I was charged another full day for a rental on a 4 x 8 trailer for being one hour late on a rental. I drove through severe thunderstorms for 2 and half hours to return the trailer on time. Once arriving at the return I stood in line for more than 20 minutes to return the trailer which counted towards my time out. I'm glad a local business is doing well, but in fairness to your customers, don't count that wait time against rental time out. Would I recommend this location to a friend? Not if they can't work with repeat customers who, in good faith, try to do the right thing to return rental equipment safely but are inhibited by bad weather and slow business. It's very disappointing.Philip S.

The truck should be ready to drive out. It was in a very muddy location and I had to back it to the door so they could load my moving blankets. That should have been done before I got there Very smelly store. Like a HUGE ashtrayKEVIN P.
Although tow dolly was clean, and all straps, chains, and lights worked fine. But dolly was very rough towing behind my vehicle had light vibrations un-loaded, but after loading the car on it it had severe vibrations on dolly axle. Looking at the tires on the dolly, both had very uneven wear and had no balancing weights on the rims. I used to work for U Haul Maintenance years ago mounting tires on all types of units & balancing as well. Did U Haul quit balancing to cut costs?James R.

I rented a trailer on Friday for a Sunday return. During the online check out process and in person pick-up it was never mentioned that I would be charged $20 for returning the equipment on Sunday. I don't appreciate Uhaul not annotating the Sunday return while making the online reservation or the rental location not mentioning it. I basically got charged $20 for nothing. I will never rent from this location again.William A.

My pickup location was changed. When I arrived on the pickup morning they told me my pickup had been moved nearly 20 miles away. When I arrived there they did not have the 15' truck I reserved. They gave me a 26' truck instead which could not make it down the driveway I had to use to load. Which was why I reserved a 15' truck. I made the reservation 2 months in advance. TERRIBLE SERICE FROM U-HAUL! THE WORST! But not the fault of this particular location. MASSIVE CORPORATE FAILURE.Timothy M.
Every aspect of the rental was great, except. I rented 6 blankets but did not even open the plastic bag the were contained within. I did anticipate a $6.00 refund as I did not use them. I did not bring up this issue with the local Uhaul contractor as it seemed petty to grouse over $6.00. But! You folks at corporate could review this situation and make a judgment call as to future non use of blankets?Kim O.

We found this location on the U-haul website. I made a reservation but the location ignored the reservation and charged me 2 times what was listed on the site. I feel like he took advantage of us since we had to move that day. I will never recommend this location. As a matter of fact I have let the local military base, Redstone Arsenal, know about this business.brenton B.
I have an issue with Uhaul self check in. It is not obvious how to close out the rental if the drop off location is closed and you return it before the contracted due date/time. I followed instructions and the only thing I could do is send an email to the drop off location to let them know I dropped it off on time .... then uhaul sends me a recipt for 20.00. I refuse to pay it. Recommend you fix your website to make it more user friendly on how to officially close out a rental on line. Make the on line close out process as easy as filling out this survey and I will have no problem in the future.CHARLES R.
