The cabin of the truck was dirty. We had to wipe down and sanitize. They did have an abundance of trucks which was great, that's the only reason I would recommend this location. The staff are not customer service trained. From my entrance the cashier was very rude. Upon returning the truck. The guy who was there cleaning the trucks was rude. 1 question and everyone has a problem.JANINA P.
The truck I rented was clean and well sanitized. It did have a bad battery,but I was able to jump start it. Didn't have any problems after that. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I would recommend this location to others.Steven L.

I ordered a truck with pads online. It would have been really helpful if the pads were in the truck already and if I didn't have to search the lot for my assigned truck. As it happened, I had to locate the truck which was parked in a line behind another truck at the far corner of the lot. With all the searching I forgot to ask about the pads until I had driven a mile away then had to pull over and call the store to inquire about the pads.KRISTINEISELE L.

I had to double back to find the key box and drop off area, they weren't obvious and had limited signage directing to where I should bring the truck. There were no personnel outside directing where to drop the truck.WILLIAM D.
I picked up moving material in two Brooklyn location. Then I transferred everything to a location in the Bronx. at the location of my delivery I was able to get a car ride back to my home. So I tried to drop off the rental cargo van at your 1965 Bruckner Blvd. location. I called the office telephone number and the representative told me that I would not be able to bring it to their location. I had to take it back to the location I rented the van from. She was also apologetic. I still do not understand why, if a customer of U-Haul cannot drop a rental off at any U-Haul location.FREDERICKDALLAS F.
Prior to us picking up the U-Haul here, we had a very terrible experience the day before we got our truck. We got a call at 1pm the day before we were using U-Haul and were informed that our place of pick up in Williamsburg did not have the truck we needed, and would instead have to pick up the truck in Queens - one hour away from our home. It's unfathomable to me that you would call someone the day before their move and tell them that the product they reserved and paid for was not available and that they would have to go an hour away to get it. It was totally unacceptable. I had paid ahead of time to ensure something like this would not happen, and I was very distressed when I got this call. We had reserved a 20 foot truck in Williamsburg, and said we couldn't get to Queens for the replacement. The alternative your rep found us was a 26 foot at the original Williamsburg location, which was way too big. Luckily she found us the 15 foot truck at this location, which we found out about because we called back to confirm. We didn't even receive a call about the change!Murat K.

Please try to make sure the outgoing fuel level reported in your system matches what's actually in the tank. When I first entered the truck, the gas gauge was on 1/8, but the paperwork said "1/2." I went back to the counter and reported the actual fuel level, but when I returned the truck--with exactly 1/8 tank of fuel--your automated system said I had been charged for not only half a tank of fuel, but also a "fuel service charge." Thank G~d there were U-Haul staff members still at the site servicing trucks after the office closed. One of them went into the system on his own cellphone and completed the return for me without the erroneous fuel charges. I shudder to think what would have happened had there been no staff available when I returned the truck. It would have been my word (and photo of the outgoing fuel level) against your system that erroneously said I rented a truck with half a tank of fuel.Douglas K.

The ladies at the front desk should not be working customer service. One in particular had an attitude and was not helpful at all. I had an issue with completing one of the steps on my phone and she just walked away. She acted like I was bothering her.
