UHaul was on the second floor of the building. Not sure if there was an elevator, or a handicap entrance, but being limited mobility it was hard going up and down the stairs. I didn’t ask for help but they were so helpful and friendly that I am sure if I said something they would have met me downstairs or said there was another entrance for handicap people to use. But the van was new, clean and easy to drive. I would definitely recommend this location. It deserved the excellent choice but because I wasn’t sure about the accessibility I gave the above average, but if handicap access is available to the second floor I would give it excellent.

The vehicle was fine. The problem was with the automated pickup, drop off system, and customer service. After reserving the trunk online, I received an email saying my pickup location was for 25 miles away when I have multiple locations within a couple miles. At 5pm on Friday night I receive a phone call saying I should have received instructions the actual pickup location & how to use your automated system to pickup & return the truck. I never got the instructions & when I tried to call back the local office was closed for the weekend. When I tried to reserve the system Saturday morning it kept saying it could not detect my location, but never gave me an option to manually enter a location. I never changed any setting on my phone and it all of a sudden worked to check out the truck, but it never worked to check it in. Then being told that they sent the instructions and can't send them again. When I called to get assistance with the check out process I spent over an hour on hold and no one answered. I tried to call on Monday, was transferred multiple times, one person hung up on my, and another person laughed at me. This has been the worst experience ever.

No mention was ever made of what ball size I should show up with. I had to go buy an additional ball to fit the hitch. I could have borrowed one and saved mileage and time. Took me an extra hour and $40. Bummer

Tire light was on and reported it before we left parking lot, said light would go out it was from outside temperature. Never went out during the 102 miles we drove. Same issue with another uhaul we rented over the summer in Worcester. Wondering why uhaul would risk a crash over a faulty tire!

My daughter and I recently moved on a rainy day. We were pleasantly greeted by Jessica. Due to the weather we thought we may need additional time. Jessica extended us with no charge. Upon returning the truck Jessica once again was very helpful. I would highly recommend this company

This location was excellent and the young lady who assisted me when I called was quick to handle my delemma. I originally had a reservation at Jones river storage in Kingston ma but unfortunately when I arrived the doors were all open by no one was there. The person that was working had left the office for what ever reason leaving their location wide ope. For us to walk into. If not for the south meadow location my whole moving plans and those who took the time to help me would have lost precious time. That kind of service is severely lacking and represents your company in the poorest light. And your reservation system for contacting which location to pick up at also doran not work because I was told I’d receive a contact call or email 24 before and I have to email your company 2 times because as of 10am on the day I was picking up I still had not known the location of my pickup. Very poor system. If I was to run my automotive dealership in this manner I would surely be out of business. I hope this gets to someone who cares enough to use my comments in a positive manner to help UHaul develope better customer service which in my care was surely lacking.

The process to schedule and pick up my truck was a mess - and it was not the fault of the employees at the pick up and drop off locations, but rather the system that u-haul apparently uses to schedule trucks and pick ups. I received three different communications - from three different methods and two different people - indicating different vehicles, pick up locations, etc. I ended up being delay almost two hours because I had to go to different locations for pick up. Again, this was NOT the fault of any of the employees at the pick up locations - but the communications from U-Haul after I had scheduled the truck online. There was no clear communication to me as to where I was to pick up my truck - and apparently it was not clearly communicated to the employees of these pick up locations either. Your system for scheduling and booking trucks needs significant improvement.
