The outlet was first class. But U-Haul themselves stink!!! 1. We book a truck on-line with U-Haul. Outlet stops been a dealer, and we are never notified. We rebook with another Pembroke dealer. It's confirmed and we have written confirmation. Check 2-3 days prior to rental to ensure things are OK. We are told that our reservation was good but they had no trucks, so we were out of luck. The girl at that outlet was wonderful and spent 20-30 minutes on the phone trying elsewhere to get us a truck. She was successful but we had to drive 50 miles to Renfrew to pick up the truck. The dealer there was good and gave us extra miles because if the increased distance, but we were out the gas driving to Renfrew in my car and driving the car and truck back to Pembroke. Your service to customers stinks. How you can twice book us trucks and let us down, and don't even email us with an update. You should be ashamed of yourselves as a service oriented company. I see you issue this survey to determine if your dealers are doing a good job. Well they are doing an excellent job. You should issue a survey asking how the company fares. It would be a big fat zero!!George B.

the location has been shut down for years. nobody told me this when i scheduled my drop off. i was on the phone with uhaul for an hour trying to figure out where to leave the truck but because i returned it after hours it was impossible to get ahold of anyone. this was a nightmare to deal with. how is this location still an option if it has been closed down for years?NICHOLAS L.

Owner was very friendly. As to location address that was WAY OFF!!! Had to rely on help of the locals to point me in the right direction. UHAUL should get their locations up to date! 383 O'Brien rd location has moved OVER 1year ago! It's proper address is 1563 highway 132. The truck smelled bad, it was clean but just. There was a lot of dirt all over the back. You couldn't put anything clean without it being wrapped. There was a layer of dirt and even hay, in the back. The inside was dirty, during covid the doors even had dirt marks from fingers. The floor was dirty. The smell was bad, I reported the rest of my problems. The mirrors would move easy at all. It took over an hour to clean. Mostly because of the smell and my daughter is allergic. I had to bring a separate car for her to help the move. The gas should be at full, because it's far out of town and at 1/4 it hard to get it and not go over. I went over and was almost at half. It didn't start well, it need feathering the gas to get it started. Black smoke, came from truck like it was a Diesel. The key gel out while I was driving and keep driving . It's so lose and not safe, the ignition is so lose it looks like it's going to fall out. The whole Unit not just the black cover. I wasn't happy this time and didn't realize it would have been cheaper to leave the truck somewhere else. I got it early because of weather and it was a small move and cost 304.SANDRAA H.

So, your actual client doesn't get your emails or his receipts or anything else... it all comes to Chicago... and this guy will never, ever let you know you are failing again...
