May be some customer service classes then let him/ her know its the customer who pays or help keep the place of business open. You never know who you may meet. Greet the customers when they at the location. Just because you are out side washing a truck be kind and tell them one moment please even if they may be a few moments or two.to wait a minute or two. Don't just allow them just stand in side looking out not thinking no one is at work watching you wash a truck and then come in this is for the rental location not drop off

When they finally got to me, they were very nice and helpful. However, I did express online so i didn't have to wait long, but there were 5 employees in the store and only one person was doing rental check-in while the rest were setting up the store. While there were two of us in line. This is not the best customer service.

The interior of the truck smelled a bit like urine and cigarette smoke initially do we had the windows down. Deon and general manager Eunisha was excellent. Deon was most helpful, friendly and went over and beyond my expectations!!!

Make sure information is absolutely correct. Upon checking in I was informed that a DL that has never belonged to me was attached to my info. Now after reading my receipt the address is all incorrect. IDK if the correct DL information is in the system now but this means that each time I need to rent equipment it will take longer cause customer service can't get info correct until I can make sure the information stays correct.

My visit at the beginning of September was a disaster. Although I made my reservation well in advance they had no truck for me. The staff was very helpful as it was not technically their fault. They we above and beyond to make sure I had the truck I needed to meet my deadline of moving. This past experience on 9/29 was a whole other beast. I arrived not long after opening. I don't mind waiting but you have a busy Saturday morning and only 1 person working. I arrived in plenty of time to get the Uhaul and arrive back at my home to meet the movers. There was only 4 people ahead of me. Not one person had an easy transaction. Had there been 2 people working the flow could have been much better. I did not have any issues with my reservation this time thank goodness but did have to wait over an hour and a half for a truck that was in poor shape. I do not consider and this the fault of the store employee. She was doing her best trying to do the job of multiple people. She was never rude to anyone and tried very hard to accommodate everyone. When I finally left the store there was at least 20 people behind me. Most would say it is completely unacceptable from a customer's standpoint to have to wait an hour and a half for a reservation. Again, this is not the employee's fault but UHaul's inability to provide good customer service. Most people had been told a completely different "story" on the phone about their reservation just as I had during my early September transaction. This location is having to make up and cover for your reservation team. This sheds a poor light on UHaul at a store level. The only reason I would not recommend this location to my family and friends is because it is poorly staffed, meaning not enough employees for a Saturday. Otherwise, they would get my vote because of their ability to stay calm when they are absolutely understaffed and overworked.

This is a large uhaul facility that also rents out storage rooms. I would imagine that their most busy days are on the weekend. Why would there only be ONE employee working? To be clear, that employee did an excellent job, but each customer takes time and to have to wait 45 min. to an hour in a line is ridiculous! If you can’t afford the payroll to have at least 2 employees working during the weekend, then I suggest you close your doors! Ryder rent trucks also!!!

The equipment was clean butbfor a one way truck the radio should work. I could not even turn the radio off and had to listen to religious sermons or ganster rap. That is not right when some people have to drive for 16+ hours on a trip.

I was to pick up 15' at Ironbridge Rd. , Blest Dr. on Friday by 9:30. I went by on Thursday spoke with Tammy to make sure it was there. She said she had it. My reserverations were made prior. When I went to pick up on Friday it was at different location.Out of the way. I was upset with the change. UHaul person switch location. The Ironbridge Self Storage was near my residence.. Departure and Arrival. The Jefferson Davis location was under reconstruction working around counter covered with plastic materials , dust.. When I request location and FU to see if available for pick up on that day . I take my time to FU. I do not text or read email all the time. I get a confirmation number on email. Their are some people who don't have either.

This is the second time I reserved a uhaul in my home town and had my reservation moved to Richmond 20 miles away without my knowledge which doubles the milage of my trip and consequently the price of my move. Your advertising and even your online reservation service is blatantly intentionally misleading in not applying the estimated milage to the price until picking up the vehicle, but I knew to expect that the third time around. Overall it was unessacarily complicated, misleading and overpriced. I would rather spend several thousand dollars on a surplus military truck to move my things than deal with Uhaul, but uhaul is slightly more convenient to get ahold of on short notice.

Trailer I rented proved to be usable for the task. Dimensions were confusing so twice I asked if it could hold a 60" wide ATV. Finally the agent said "we can rent you the 6x12 trailer which is plenty wide. When I got to the location to buy the Polaris, we found that the rear OPENING was only 4'9". Useless. I had to rent one of their trailers. Not happy.

I was extremely satisfied with my experience at this location. They were very friendly, corgerial and went out of their way to make sure the customers got what they needed. My experience was with the manager at this location and I was very impressed with her customer service and management skills. She runs a tight and well run ship. I had to wait to pickup my vehicle. The customer ahead of me had been waiting over 30 minutes to pickup hers. The two ladies there were working as fast as possible. Their attitude was very positive and cordial to all of the customers, there were five of us there. I feel they were overwhelmed. .

There was only one young lady at this location working by herself and she managed to handle about five of us who were returning trucks at the same time. This young lady remained professional and courteous although she seemed overwhelmed. I suggest that she be given a raise and promotion. But most of all make sure she has some help because good employees eont last if they feel stressed out and undervalued.
