Unfortunately, the wording of the survey questions make it impossible for me to express my dissatisfaction with the online check in without hurting the rating of the location. The online check in process was extremely difficult to use and overall a horrible experience. The problem began when the website would not recognize my location. I had to walk around the parking lot until I was in the "right" GPS location. Then once I entered my information I was asked for NOT ONE but TWO secondary identifiers. These were a contact, a 2nd contact, a work contact or a passport. I gave the 2 required contacts and tried to proceed with my rental only to find out one of my contacts was not answering the call. IT WAS 8AM ON A SATURDAY MORNING, OF COURSE THERE MAY NOT BE AN ANSWER!! I'm glad I was not picking up at 5am like I wanted to. So my other options are my office number or my passport. My office is closed on Saturday SO no answer there and I did not have my passport. Luckily the Uhaul office was open and I was able to IM the customer service rep "assisting" me to forget the online check in I'd do it in the office. But wait the saga does not end there. Diamond, my customer service rep, calls me to determine why I've given up on the online check in. I explain there is no way I can meet the necessary verification requirements 300 miles from home standing alone in a parking lot. She is kind enough to give my approval the go ahead so I can actually get going. Diamond was actually quite helpful. I go inside the office to get the key and the service rep at the counter cannot finish my check in because I had started the online process, so the entering of all of my information begins anew. Finally, 30 minutes after my SCHEDULED AND PAID pickup time I am able to get started with my day. Diamond and the location customer service representative were more than helpful resolving this nightmare. One star is way too good of a review for the online check in process. It is not really a check in but rather a reentry of all of the information you gave to reserve your truck. I highly recommend skipping the online "check in" and just going to the counter. If the office had not been open I do not know what I would have done.TIMOTHY O.

Check things very well, as I could do not . I had to wait a long time at the rental sight, I felt rushed as the agent said -U-Haul computer site was not working right. It was not his fault, but it was stressful & other clients were there waiting, too. The one -way price was a shocker!linda W.
