The truck barely had a qtr worth of gas when I picked it up. And then I dropped it off about a hour later and put the key in the owners had. He never totaled it out and drove 10miles before he did charging me an additional $10. But then allegedly credits my debit card the $10 he used. I have used multiple trucks this week for moving and never had an issue where I was charged for time I didn't use. I only used this location because I had just bought $860 worth of furniture from their store and wanted to get it the same day myself and save time and money waiting for them to deliver it to my house less than 6 miles from the store. And the last truck I had before the 10ft I tried to use this location for a drop of because it said it was open to 8pm but that's not correct it was closed. With homeless people in front of the key drop box. This is the worst u-haul experience in my life.Shannan R.

We were scheduled to pick the truck up at noon and the guy never showed so thirty minutes later a lady who works for the furniture store finally waits on us. We ordered a dolly and they didn't have that available. It was just aggravating to stand around while you have people waiting on the truck to move and not have the equipment you ordered.Tammy H.

Most of the time I have a good experience with uhaul. However this time was not so good. I booked a location near me to get a 10' truck, I received an email confirming the location I choose. I arrived and no trucks. So I clicked on my reservation number and it took me to the uhaul site. Uhaul had moved my pickup location 15 miles away from original pickup. So I called to find a location closer, the representative was new and helped the best she could. I had the $50 guarantee. Uhaul refused to issue the $50 guarantee and the supervisor was insulting, rude and continued to talk over me. Not helpful at all. Another U-Haul supervisor called me and was much more polite. He said I could not get the guarantee because he said the system shows they contacted me by email, text and a phone call. Never received a single one. I told them I understand the call and text not going through but emails come through as long as the email is correct. Just a bunch of crap to avoid paying the $50. Also they kept trying to give me a bigger truck a 20' and 25'. The furniture location was very good with helping me but I ended up with a 15' truck instead of a 10' like I originally booked.nolan S.
We booked a 10 foot truck 3 weeks in advance to pick up at a location close to home. The day before Uhaul called to confirm and changed the location due to no availability at our original location. Went to the new location and they only had a 20 foot truck much larger than we wanted to drive but us no choice due to time constraints. Pick up location was friendly but did not tell us to watch for a text message before we left to go over vehicle conditions nor did they tell us that even though we picked a return location in a different drop off city that we actually needed to call the phone number on the contract so they can complete the check in. In the end it all worked out but watch for text messages and open the emailed contract for return location before just showing up somewhere.Darryl F.

That they don't give the customer a vehicle on E no gas and expect for gas to be in it when returned. And if you don't use all miles you tell them that the monies be subtracted.Deborah H.

I reserved my rental on Wednesday at a UPS owned facility and reserved moving blankets as well. On my way to location (From another city), I received a call that the original location did not have a 20ft truck, but another one did. I showed up at 10 AM, the time of my reservation and they "UHAUL" people were not there yet. Was told "another 10 minutes". We waiting and someone finally showed up. The location was a Indian Furniture store in a strip mall. They gentlemen helped me and informed me that they did not "get" blanks (which I really needed). Then he hands me the key and says truck is out back. I ask him, how do I get there as it's a store in a very large strip type mall. He says I'll walk you back. We then went through a unsafe warehouse (furniture stacked high) through paths and to a back door. He took several 2x4's off to go outside to trucks. The back lot was littered with trash and a open man hole with standing water and muck (right near door). He walks me to the truck and says here you go. I tell him, let's do a walk around and on walk around I noticed a slashed tire. He tried to give me a larger truck at same price (but the area I was moving from has limited space, that is why a 20' truck was the biggest I could go with). He looks and has another truck, I ask can we do a walk around to make sure it's good? We did and it appeared okay. He said we would have to go in and redo the entire reservation. So back through the maze of furniture. He was able to move some things around and did give me a 20 dollar discount and said 9 dollars and some change would be refunded to my cc. Now back through the maze with the new key. He handed me the key and said have a good day. I asked him don't we do a walk around on the phone for damage and he said that they don't do that there. Overall the experience was less than stellar. This is the reason I chose a corporate location and not a third party. I felt unsafe walking in the warehouse and even more unsafe walking outside in the back of the facility. Lastly, the inside of the truck was not cleaned, not even swept out. Not a huge deal, but it was disappointing. I would not ever use this location again nor would I ever suggest this location to anyone.Chad S.

This is as my second location because the first one I had a reservation for did not have any vehicles there when I went. I was told if nothing is available as promised I would get a 50 and that wasn't honored and the truck I wanted wasn't available so I had to get a bigger truck and pay the difference which wasn't right. I have dealt with uhaul places in the past but this experience was by far the worst. Not a happy customerFalawn R.

Make sure the cabin is clean. For example, make sure the cup holders is clean and there aren't food crumbs on the floor of the truck's cabin. The price quoted was $402, but with taxes/fees it became $441. It would be better to show both figures for full disclosure.Ajay G.

The trailer I rented had couch cushions, a blanket (rug), and several open cans of food inside when I picked it up. It appeared as if someone had been living inside the trailer for several days. Had I not opened the doors and inspected the trailer, I would have left the location with these contents inside. Furthermore, the trailer that was rented to me had a taillight that was not working.Bryan H.
