I was given a truck that had almost no gas and zero oil in the engine. It broke down not even two miles up the road, and I had to limp it back to the storage lot but not before it stalled out multiple times. I got a replacement though it wasted a needed hour of packing to move the next morning.

It was a terrible experience. No one explained how to enter the facility, and there were zero instructions provided. I wasted so much time trying to figure it out on my own — completely unacceptable.
Chrissy CInstructions on where to get truck behind secure area and at back of storage facility where not clearly described. I sit on hold for 35 minutes with uhaul trying to figure it out. This made me 35 minutes late to my destination. The truck was also on E at pickup and required me to stop and add fuel. I dropped it off with a half tank but of course that’s not counted towards anything yet they will charge the previous renter a fuel surcharge fee. Uhaul also changed my rental pickup location a couple days before I was due to pick it up. Not only that but it was farther from my original pickup and drop off. Then charged me for the extra mileage when if I was able to pickup at my initial location there would be no extra fee.
