I requested a 20" truck to move my Son from our home to an apartment. I was given a 26 ' Truck do not having any 20 " available. I should have checked more locations as this turned out to be a fiasco. I did not want to drive something this large - however had no choice... I subsequently scratched a U-Haul Pickup Truck that was parked at the entrance, trying to exit the location parking area. Thank God I had taken out the insurance on the rental. Had I would have had the smaller truck - this would have not happened. I was so scared of the truck that I drove it no more than 30 miles per hour (only) and took all backroads as I was so imitated by the situation..... This took twice as long to get to my destinations and back causing greater costs, and added extra time and dollars to my U-Haul Labor Help. The Manager at the location was very difficult to deal with and I would not recommend anyone go to his location. (DAVID"S Automotive Repair in the Colony, Texas).

Don't know if it was the owner who help me but he was rude as Hell when I picked up and when I return truck! I asked where I park the truck when I returned it cause he didn't tell me when I picked it up earlier in the day and his response in a VERY demeaning manor was.... "Like I told you on the side"! I Don't appreciate being talked to like a child and that's not the way to talk to customers PERIOD!!! Respect!

the man was EXTREMELY rude and condescending when we picked up the truck.. When we returned the truck we were in line a very long time. Customer ahead of us kept dinging the bell but he never came. We both dropped keys and left.

The 24x7 online rental was extremely disappointing. It took a total of 30 minutes to pick up the key. There was a 12 minute delay in verifying my drivers liscense. I suspect you need additional staff for customer support. I would not recommend using the 24x7 option and prefer to speak to a person when renting.

Stop overcharging and double charging customers and also set up a refund system and put it in place for situations that happen like this. Instead of having to wait 3 days for the area manager to get back with you before your refund will be issued.

After arriving, I went in to the business, David's Automotive Repair, and waited for over 5 minutes to be helped. There was no one inside the business to greet me. There was no pager, bell on the counter, door bell, etc. to be found. So I had to walk around the outside of the business and I found 3 mechanics working on one car. I finally called out to them to ask how I check in the U-Haul. One mechanic asked if I had the key and I showed it to him and he said that's all I need. No paper work, signature or anything. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL for U-HAUL to have business like this to be partners with! To add to the poor service I received an email with a $21 bill for not having the appropriate amount of fuel in the truck. After calling U-Haul directly, this matter has been resolved. The operator handled this matter to my satisfaction. However, after having to drive 30+ miles to just pick up a truck and 8+ extra miles to return it, I am unhappy as a returning U-Haul customer. I have used U-Haul at least 6 times since 2011. I need to rent another truck to make the second trip of my move next week and I believe that U-Haul should give me a great discount for my returning business or I will need to look at other truck rentals for my relocation needs. Have the gas tank full, it's too difficult trying to match the gas level with a truck I was not familiar with. I ended up putting in too much gas. It would be nice to have that extra $15 refunded to me.

The truck had no AC, rattled like it was falling apart, had at least a hand’s width of play in the steering wheel, and whomever filled it up before me left the gas cap off so we spilled a bunch of gas on the road. It was also a larger truck than we had reserved. With your insistence on pick up/drop off locations or pay an extra $91, it’s a bit annoying that my truck wasn’t ACTUALLY available there. It’s 2018. You can’t keep track of inventory?

Customer service was awful. Location charged us for a dolly that was not used. And I don't having to just return the truck without having some type of receipt and this reason why. Location just charges you for whatever they want.

The manager was very rude towards me. He act lol ijs he didn't want to help me at all and charged me insurance after I declined the initial offer. His response was he can't remove it and I must take it. I'll never go back to that location again. I believe his name is David. Definitely never going back.

The owner of this place was speaking so badly of U-HAUL the entire time I was at his front desk. He gave no eye contact and was completely unprofessional, where was the customer service? On top of that this is the second time I have experienced major issues with the U-Haul app on my phone causing over an hour delay in our move. I would have felt so much better had I been helped with a smile and someone who actually cared. This is sad and I don’t think U-Haul would want someone like this representing them.
