The truck was not equipped with dolly and pads I had requested. The truck smelled like livestock manure and was not clean. It was difficult to get the truck out of the spot it was placed. The rental area grass is overgrown and the buildings were falling apart. A homeless man walked out from behind the building at one point. Not a safe feeling environment to have your family to get a U-haul. Upon return of the truck to the Richardson store Ron, who was very helpful, let me know the truck the Tyler location let me leave with was an in-town rental.BRANDON W.
The location looks dangerous. The manager isn't there to transact business. I was charged for both mileage and gas. The round trip was 60 miles and I was charged for 100 miles. The $19.95 charge is grossly deceptive. $19.95 became $160! Next time I will go to other short distance moversDavid W.
While the truck was good, The location is sketchy with dilapidated buildings and trucks are parked off pavement in the weeds. I reserved two dollies and 24 blankets only to be told when it was time to pick up the truck that the location did not have that equipment. I called U-Haul corporate and was told that I could just go to any official U-Haul location and get it. As it turns out, there were no dollies or blankets at any nearby location. Why do you let me reserve it if it is not available?Greg B.

1. Was called while enroute to location. To pick up the truck and was sent to a different place, once we arrived the ABANDONED looking building no one was at location, tried to call straight to voice mail. Called uhaul, the very professional person walked us thru the app, getting the code and the keys. (The trucks parked so close together like less than 2 feet between them, head to tail, not side by side. Very difficult to get out.) 2. Truck was damaged (wood broken off) 3. Previous renter of said truck left furniture pieces in the truck, 4. The truck share APP is a joke.James F.
The drop off was an abandoned building with a parking lot in horrible state â€”- 2 places where there had been fires on the parking lot, broken glass, weeds, no signage. There weren't any people around & I doubt there ever are. A horrible reflection on the U-Haul brand. I understand the need for U-Haul to designate a return site but you should remove this one. Personally, I won't use U-Haul if I have to return to drop off. Thank you.Mary K.

To start with I very seldom give a review either positive or negitive, if service is good I am loyal &tell everyone, if it is bad I just do not continue to business with. The best suggestion I have is to not use this location. Service started out good but the quickly changed. I called & tolded the owner/employee that I was on my way and could be there in about 5 minutes, I understood her to say that she would walk up to the location. When we arrived we waited about 15 minutes before I called & said Maybe I am at the wrong location, she said I was at the right address but we had to complete some information first. She was very difficult to understand and had a hard time understanding me, I had to repeat everything multiple times. She said I tried to get this information from you but you hung up - making this my fault (the customer). I asked her at one point if she was in the building (that was locked & I had knocked on the door )- she said yes but would not come out to help me. I have truly never been so frustrated with working with anyone ever before. When she gave me the code to get the key out of the lock box she said it so fast that I could not get it, then she was aggravated with me.Jackie F.
This site was unattended. My reservation needs were not met. Had to drive 20+ miles to this location which had a truck but no pads, no dolly. Had to drive to a second location to get the other items. The second location had everything I would have needed and no further from my home.Brian W.
The entrance to this location is in serious need of repair. There is a huge hole and mud pit in the middle of the driveway. You have to drive off the road to pass it. They charged me incorrectly, twice. Even after calling customer service to have it corrected. I am still working on having the charge fixed.Lori R.
I booked online for mobile pick up and return, lady called said I needed to check out through them so I did as told, she added insurance back on even though I had declined online so was charged 14 for something I did not want and due to her releasing I was not able to return through deviceWilliam B.
It was just an empty building with a box on the side to drop the keys. No one was around to inspect the equipment, hope the next person don't crash it and I get blamed and charged.lamary M.

The lot that the truck was on was overgrown and difficult to get to. There is not an office on the lot with anyone to help you. I used the online pick up service and you're supposed to show the attendant an image to receive the keys. I walked all over the lot knocking on doors and no one ever answered anywhere. Finally I mysteriously received a phone call from who ever runs the place and she tells me the keys are in the truck. I was so caught off guard that I forgot to mention that I didn't revive the dolly I ordered as well. After returning the truck, I noted that I didn't receive the dolly and Uhaul said that they would be calling me in 48 hours. I haven't been called but I've been charged. Oh well. I'm not going back to "Satellite" again.Mark T.
You people quoted me at $77 and ended up charging me $148. You tacked on $53 fuel costs and a $25 cleaning fee. I put fuel in return to bring it up to where it was when I drove away on Friday. As for the cleaning fee that is plain and simple a ripoff. That truck was spotless !!! This location had no one on site to help when the self-pickup didn't work and the key was not in the box like it should have been. The location could also use some clean up and general maintenance. It was very run downBrandon W.
The trailer hitch did not work properly so we were not able to end up picking up the things we needed. The office person did not answer the phone and identify that it was U-haul all they said was "Hello" I thought I had a wrong number. Very unhappy with the overall experience.Patricia F.
The location where the trucks are held is not a good spot. It is also important to interact with customers in-person. This company is literally making money without any face to face interaction and very little involvement. Overall it was quick and easy and hours were great. Passenger side mirror has a crack in it that creates a very hard view once it's dark outside and headlights hit the mirror. It was not noticeable during the day but the headlights made it very hard to see. Other than that, the Tyler location was wonderful to deal with!!!Michael B.
