Always renting from that location and have a couple issues. 1) parking lot close 8pm and no way to return the van after hours 2) the van smells. It would be nice to use some air freshener or clean it more carefully to eliminate the odor.Evgeny T.
After not finding any available u-haul trucks in NYC, I reserved a truck at this location. BEST DECISION!!! The service was flawless. I'm moving and nothing is going as planned and Marny and her colleague were so kind and extended my reservation without hesitation. Initially I was supposed to pick up my vehicle in my home town. I was told a few days before hand, I would instead have to travel to UC to pick up the box truck instead. When I arrived, the young male Storage Blue representative stated he had the vehicle there and it was above his pay grade to approve the out of town rental. Thankfully, he gave me a number to call while he assisted an older gentleman. After a while of being put on hold he called me back into the room. He was very respectful and explained the situation to one of his hire ups. I was promised I would get a lower rate if I dropped off at a different location than initially scheduled. Unfortunately, I was still charged the full price plus a drop off fee. Hopefully, I will get my several hundred dollars back.Patrick C.

Whoever checked the gas that was left on the truck that I used did it wrong and the company is charging 30 for gas and 30 fee to put the gas when I already put gas to the truck now I have to wait 5 days for my money to be returned this wasn't pleasant at all !Muguel P.
First of all when I rented the truck they just gave me the key and when I asked where's the truck? The just said â€œit's outsideâ€ like I'm supposed to know and outside wasn't anyone assisting me so I had to figure out which was my truck. When I finally found the truck, it was blocked by a guy that works there, so I went back inside to tell them and the announced the guys car on the speaker. 25 minutes past by and the guy never came, so I went inside again and they said that the guy went to grab lunch and didn't leave the keys, in the middle of this I was paying 2 other guys to help me move my furniture and they were charging me by hour. So after 25 minutes or so I decided to get out of there maneuvering around the minivan. Horrible experience they didn't even apologized and I had to pay more than I had to because of they're mistake.Benjamin N.

storage blue staff customer service skills are poor at best. the truck I was given had known key start ignition issues, they gave it to me anyway, I had trouble multiple times starting the truck. super frustrating. but at least its over.brian B.

This location needs to improve their service drastically. I won't be using them again for any truck rental needs. My rental was scheduled for 9am and I didn't get my truck and drive off until about 9:40am. There was only one other customer being serviced when I got there and two employees behind the counter. One of them was running around processing returns from the night before and couldn't assist me. The two employees also didn't have a driver's license so they couldn't move any trucks or even move other vehicles blocking the front entrance. The truck wasn't pulled up for me in the front and I spent a few minutes trying to find my truck. Then I went back into the office and they told me that I had walk around the block to pick up the truck myself. There was nobody there to check out the truck with me for any existing damages. I opened the back door and the dolly that I paid for with my reservation was missing. They asked me to come back to the front office and pick it up as it isn't automatically placed in there. They told me about the fuel level and that I had to bring it back the same or I would pay and inconvenience fee of $40 and $4.99 per gallon. I made sure to get gas not even a mile down for the location before returning the truck and it was actually slightly over the level they gave it to me. I returned the truck and again, no one was there to check it back in. I get the final bill via email and guess what? I had a fuel fee + 3.6 gallons applied to the bill. I called this local office and they asked that I call Uhaul main customer service line for this matter. Overall, I had a horrible experience and will not go to this location again.Kira S.
