I tried to do the RideShare the night before my experience, and the customer representative was incredibly rude. Her name was Michelle, and I was in a chat with her. She told me that I was not competent enough to complete the reservation on my own, and I was very offended. The guy who helped me the next day told me that she reported me as "intoxicated", which is ironic because I have not had a drink in 2 years. I did not appreciate her, but the in-person experience was great. The guy that helped me was quick and to the point.

Provide more staff at this location. Also when a reservation is made and the vehicle is not available at the time of the reservation some sort of compensation should be provided.

Have the vehicle available on time. Explain the difference between all day rate and hourly rate. Let the customer know when they are required to have the vehicle back. Have better communication between the call center and actual location.

I do not remember his name I returned the truck AT 7pm, closing time. I was greeted with a a BIG smile. He took care of everything for me. I had a smile on my face when i left . Very pleased with service.

The staff was very friendly and quick. Nothing went wrong with the rental. A larger space for those employees to work would likely be very beneficial. They seem to have very limited space.

Called on oct 12and made a reservation for Nov. 5th. Called again on Oct. 15th and changed reservation to Oct. 27th. Arrived at U-Haul Sat. Morning at 10. The line was seven people deep and no one was at the counter. A blond girl comes in and finally helps the next person in line and then she leaves with the person and doesn’t come back for at least 20 minutes. Then a guy comes in and the line is now nine people deep. It’s my turn give the guy my name and he says he doesn’t have a reservation for me, I said I have one and made a change to it. No reservation at the Murray U-Haul. He makes a call and tells me the U-Haul in West Valley has one and the manager will hold it for me. I asked he they could bring it to the Murray U-Haul - no the guy said. By now, I am an hour behind my schedule. Get to West Valley U-Haul a guy by the name of Dante helps me and I am still very angry - I was suppose to see the Manager, he poked his head around and then left the store, he did not talk to me about the problem, no apology, nothing, he didn’t speak to me at all. Dante was very nice and it helped take the edge. Not one person helped me (aside from Dante) not one person apologized - not one person explained a thing to me. The Customer Service simply and purely wasn’t there to start with. By the time I leave West Valley U-Haul, I am now 2.5 hours behind schedule. Now, I find there is an added 21.20 added to my bill. I called and I was told it was for and extra 20 miles. That is an outright lie and fraud to insinuate that I went an additional 20 mile. I did not take a pic of the mileage when I left U-Haul and didn’t think about it until I got home. I told Dante the most Milage there would be was 66 miles, not knowing for sure, 30 miles to and 30 miles back, is what it was and now I’m told I went an extra 20 miles???? Down right lie. Pretty fed up with U-Haul at this point and am even more angry than I was yesterday. You ask for reviews so U-Haul can help serve the next Customer better? That a joke, U-Haul needs to know what Customer Service is to serve everyone right the first time they walk in the store. I’m beside myself and will check my options regarding the supposed 20 extra miles I went.

First off they didn't tell me i needed a special thing for the trailer lights. Then we got that & got it home & the lights didn't work anyways. I had to follow the trailer with my car. So this ended up costing me a lot more than I had planned. If I knew I had to follow the trailer, we would have just towed it & not rented that trailer. I won't do it again.

The last 2 of 3 times I have rented I have felt unsafe in the equipment. This particular truck has a right front tire that is bald, not just a little bit. I wouldn’t put anyone in this kind of equipment. The interior windshield is too dirty to see out of our. One of the previous trucks lights pointed to everyplace but the road and required adjustment before I could drive in the canyon. The interior windshield as also very dirty.

The truck had all kinds of scratches and dents, I was in a hurry and trusted that all would be fine. When I returned it I was blamed for a huge dent that I did not cause, it had a scratch on that location as well, it was obvious that the scratch and dent was one in the same, the scratch was the cause by whatever hit and dented it as well. Also I took the truck back at 7:04 p.m., closing time was 7 p.m. I called the guy at the location at 6:45 p.m. because I was across the street getting gas but I had to wait on people in front of me, I told him that I would be there in a few minutes to return the truck but might be a couple of minutes late, he said OK, well.....I got there at 4 minutes past closing and he did not want to take the truck, he said it'll be fine, we'll just put the key in the after hours hole, my return time was 6:45 p.m., they charge me an extra day rental for those few minutes and some clown manager in Arizona said that I had the truck all night and for 15 hours therefore they will screw me out of a whole day rental. I would not recommend dishonest people like this to any one, dishonest people just looking for an excuse to screw you over. There are many other rental companies, I recommend that you go there.

There is never anyone working. There is one guy for 10 to 20 people. Waited in line for ever to leave with a damaged Truck. IF Im going to leave everything I own IN a truck for more than an hour I want to make sure that it is NOT damaged water. Ive lived back and forth across this country. THIS was a Joke!

Can't think of any other way to improve. Staff here are friendly & knowledge.. we were in and out with no problems.
