put a sign by the road that says uhaul. put a sign outside of the building uhaul. u had to guess where to go in and where to go. not good.

The truck was not at the location sent to us in our confirmation email. We had to drive 45 minutes away to collect it. It was a 26ft truck. We had ordered a 15 ft truck three weeks earlier. There was less than 1/4 of a tank of gas in vehicle when we picked it up from the location. We were charged twice what we had expected to pay (instead of $197 we had to pay over $300).

I started the application on my phone in my car waiting for my friend to sign her lease and get her keys. I began the mobile pick up app and texting my granddaughter for the info on the primary driver-her husband. When my friend was done I took her back to the nursing home and went to pick up the truck. I went inside and was told I needed to finish it online. I sat in my car for 45 minutes and ended up canceling the reservation. I started all over doing a pick up at the counter. We completed the move in 4 hours and returned the truck. When the driver took the key inside he was told I needed to complete the check out online which took another 30 minutes. The location was perfect for the move - about 5 miles to the nursing home and about 5 miles to the apartment and back to the rental site. Unfortunately the time consumed getting and returning the truck left a negative impression. I paid at the counter when picking up the truck and I think it was more than the amount listed on the app when I checked out

While booking if the customer books at a particular location please make sure that the truck is available at that location. Modifying the location 50 miles away and adding extra miles to the truck doesnt help and is very disappointing.

Absolutely NO assistance was to hook up the trailer. I was given the trailer number at the desk and told to go find it. If I didn't already know how to connect everything, This could have been dangerous, especially for a trailer with brakes. Also, the tongue was sitting on the pavement. It I hadn't brought a hydraulic jack, I don't know how I would have gotten the trailer onto the hitch.

I am disputing an overcharge to my credit card of $20.00 late fee/after hours service fee. I picked up the trailer at 9:07 am on April 9, 2021 and returned it at 11:49 am. I walked in to the counter/registration at Ramada Inn and the lady told me that it was fine. I had told her where I parked it and after I walked out I accessed the online check in website. I have two pictures as I did this twice, the first one at 11:49 am and second at 11:50 as the screen stated to place your rental contract in the key/documents drop box/slot and "THANK YOU" at the bottom. Everything was done electronically. I can provide both pictures if needed Customer service was the worst I have ever been subjected to

Strange location drop off. Only drop off location in Wytheville. There is only one person working the desk at the Ramada Inn. This gentleman was friendly and very helpful, however, he was by himself and helping hotel guests check in and check out. We had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes just to drop off the truck. This was no fault of the gentleman, just the way their system is set up. Very odd.

Perhaps clean the inside of the vehicle. I took pictures of the trash and crumbs and sent those in. It would also be nice if you would keep up with the pictures I send in of the dash cluster. The track I had did not have. Full tank of gas, it had under a half. When I brought it back, it had over a half. I only went less than 10 miles total. I don't think this warranted you charging me 206.46 + 64.??. I was suppose to be charged 149?? and that was all. This is a rip off and I am very disappointed. I have used UHaul before as have other family members, kinda looks like I'll be finding someone else now. When I called Monday morning the lady said that someone would call me before the end of 3 days and I have yet to hear anything.

The man and woman running the facility was very nice and accommodating when we picked up the equipment. The on line app was rough to get started. It took us an hour to down load and check out with two of the three equipment. I went back later and got the third piece (TD) and the fender had been smushed into the trailer tire and only one side of the lights worked. So we hooked up the other tow dolly. We got on the road and got a call because I had issues with the check out of both trailers. It showed that They had not been checked out. So I called from our next stop and the girl who was also very accommodating and nice in Lynchburg finished the check out. On the road the truck and trailers worked fine and we had no issues. Check in was frustrating as the local dealer had a 24/7 drop box and the app did not list my drop off location. I had to call the Denver U-Haul location 3 times to try to get things dropped off. I called the business 2 times and got no answer in the middle of the day. We finally took pictures and left and on our last call to U-Haul she checked the equipment back in. I did let the girl know I have pictures of everything if needed. The call center people were all very professional. But I felt that I was not supposed to talk to the facility when I picked up the equipment and that I was on my own hooking everything up. Same at drop off. If I had to give an overall score of the whole check in and out process I would give it a 5. The people at U-Haul I would give a 10. They did their best to have everything done by protocol but yet still helped me when that was not possible.
