They send pictures the night before of the car dolly I was renting to haul a car over 1,300 miles. For a 7am pickup. When I got there they hooked it to my truck had me drive over to the carport to hook the wire up to my truck. And the driver side light didn’t work. The wire that ran through the frame of the dolly was bad. Also the finder wasn’t even bolted down. So they went and got another dolly that was narrow then the one we was supposed to get which made turning tight little harder making sure it didn’t rub the car. But had no choice it was only one they had to fit the type of car. The dolly they replaced it with. Had to take the hitch off and trade with the original dolly’s hitch because of the safety lock catch was bent. Also the one I brought home with me had a hole in the side of the fender. Which I had to go with to get going. It made it all the way back. Also when I pulled off the lot they didn’t have the tie down straps tied down so they where dragging on the ground when I went to pickup the car I was going to tow. At least I made it back but it cost me about 21/2 hours of time waiting on them to get another one ready to go. Which cost me driving due to loosing 2 hours from going pacific time to central time zone. Wasn’t very trusting with the service of pulling the car cross the Rocky’s mountains so I stopped and had a service station check the bolts in the hitch to make sure the 4 bolts where tight. Sad part is I took one out there this last spring. With no issue from my local area. It was supposed to be a fast trip back home but it wasn’t. Glad it’s not my local store!! It’s a big Uhual store with a repair department and they didn’t have the service guy come out. They the guy behind the desk swap parts from one dolly to the other.

Christa Raleigh was very very rude and this was not the first time she has been rude to me or my family members I figured the 1st time was like ok maybe she’s having a bad day but this is the 3rd time. I did place a call to u haul and file a complaint. If this does not get taken care of I will never use u haul again! In the past I have used other stores and had great experiences but this location never have I ever had such horrible customer service and attitude and disappointment and disrespect!!

Overall is a great experience. Krista, hopefully I got her name and spell correctly was very helpful and professional. Her computer internet shut down plus she had long lines. She still very helpful and professional in everything she did. She went above and beyond to help me with my truck and my storage. The only down fall is, she called probably her supervisor or someone maybe above her to sent people to help her with her lines and the response was” I will think about it.” Ask me how I know? Because she said,” ok you think about it.” And at least extra customer service specialist to help Krista when it’s busy.

Was paid before hand yet they made my son pay again.The location givin for pick up didn't have the equipment so he had to go to another location,which made him late.The lady that helped him was extremely rude.This was a terrible experience from a company I use a lot.Disappointing.

The service counter at this location is always slow, but it doesn’t seem to be the employees fault. The technology or WiFi seems to slow transactions and inventory checks down. Equipment and employees are great though!

I was supposed to pick up my truck at a different location. It wasn't until I got to where I thought I was picking up, did I find out I had to backtrack to this location. There was no call the day prior to confirm anything, as I was expecting. A few moments after I left with the truck, apparently I received an email with a link to verify any damage. I was not told to expect that. By the time I was back on the grid to check email, the link was expired. The drivers seat did not go back as far as it seemed it should have. That made for an uncomfortable drive. I could not adjust the drivers side mirror. I made it work, but a slight adjustment would have made for a more comfortable drive.

the trailer blew a tire 60 minutes out on the trip. 11:30 PM and although the service was responsive, it delayed the line by a couple of hours and late into the night. There were also two tires left in the trailer no one at UHaul seemed to know what to do about. It was frustrating not being able to talk to anyone directly at the Yakima site.

As a new customer the process and protocol for renting a truck and the return of the vehicle were unfamiliar as you might expect. AT NO TIME during the face to face process on-site of reserving, discussing mileage and return did ANYONE say ANYTHING about needing to download an app on my smart phone in order to be able to return the vehicle after business hours. (This seems discriminatory against your clients who may not have a smart phone!) Also, setting up an account was difficult (the app kept telling me I didn't have a password for the username, which was my e-mail, even after I did set a password!) and then when I arrived in town to return the vehicle, at the time which I had set on my contract (no extra day expenditure, no extra mileage), the app WOULD NOT recognize/find my location. I had the "find my location" setting on my phone turned on, I followed the directions of the tutorial (SEVERAL TIMES OVER!) but it would not find me sitting there in the parking lot at 7:30pm. I sat in the vehicle for 45 minutes trying again and again to get it to recognize my location but it would not. I was tired from my trip, my pick up ride was waiting on me, so I took all the pictures that the tutorial said, of the mileage, and the time on the clock of the truck, the condition I was returning the truck and of the UHaul store to prove I was there at that time. I left the key in the box and had to leave after 8:00pm. On the way home I tried to find an email account for that store so I could send them the pictures to prove I was there at that time. There isn't one. I called the store phone to try to leave a message to explain. The answering service SCOLDED ME! She said, "Well, the lesson you need to learn here is not to leave the site before you call me here. Now you'll be charged and additional $20.00." Here is my take-away from this experience: If the technology is to help make things easier, fine. But what about technical difficulties when there is no one around to help a customer after hours? What about clients who don't have a smart phone? And, I'm sorry, how about TELLING THE CLIENT that there even IS a technology they will need in order to leave a vehicle after hours?! No one said a thing about it even when I made it clear I would be dropping off after they closed! Also, if a record of where I was at what time with their vehicle is the point of the app, then doesn't the fact that the truck and key were there when they opened the next morning PROVE that I didn't keep their truck longer than my contract said I would?! Also, I still have the photos and I went into the store the next day after I got off work to discuss the extra $20 fee and my difficulties. The line was long, it wasn't moving very fast and after 10 minutes of just standing there, I left. You got me. You get to keep an extra $20 after I spent over $200 to haul a gift to my son. Do you feel proud? Your company might as well just own the fact that you have hidden fees and charges to nickle and

no issue with store or people there. but i made my reservation online, and did the quick check in thing to avoid waiting around while the information was done at counter, but it did not send it to the center where i picked up at. so if your going to have something like that, make sure it works properly.

Have more employees to work the counter. I was in line 45 minutes to get my paperwork. Inspect your equipment upon arrival or perform a basic operational check before it is released to another customer. What should have taken a half hour turned into 2hrs because the first transport trailer didn't have working left side lights and the techs had to bend over backwards to convince their supervisor that the problem wasn't my motorhome. 2.5hrs to pick up a transport trailer is unacceptable.
