Corp 800 number gets a poor rating. They had me picking up a 100 miles away. They kept saying 2 weeks the schedule will fix it self. It did not and I had to call 5 times it stressed me out. Last thing I need in a major change of life move. The address u told me to pick up the truck did not exist because they moved. More stress!! Then I was told that my area did not do 26 ft trucks. I dropped my truck off after closing so there was no interaction. I would like to take this opportunity to express my extreme disappointment in the whole process. I had 2 CONFIRMED reservations for 6x12 trailers on Tue, May 27. I get a phone call on Thur, May 29 stating I had no trailers. I had people coming to help me move 2 storage units from Annapolis, Md to Allentown, Pa. I was offered a 15 ft van but it was 30+ minutes from where my storage unit was. This was then met by the experience with the battery that I already mentioned. This was undoubtedly the WORST rental experience I have ever had. UNACCEPTABLE!HARRIS C.

You can start by letting people know the details of the check in process when they return a truck after hours. The contract doesn't even tell the details of the process. Uhaul leads you to believe all you have to do is go onto a website, follow the instructions, and you can check the truck in. What they don't tell you at the location, or in the contract, is that you need to be physically present at the site, with your cellphone in hand, on order to complete the checkin process, otherwise Uhaul will attempt to dupe you out of $20,00 for a convenience fee, if you have a representative checkin the truck the following day.NATHAN H.
One of the employees was vulgar and arguing with customers. He was threatening to fight them. He was disciplined by management at one point but it didn't seem like much more than a stern talking to. The way the employee was acting, he should have been fired on the spot. Concerning my order and experience, everything went well. I rented a pickup truck with a 5x9 trailer attachment. The employee with longer hair in a ponytail helped me get the trailer connected and let me know what I needed to do once I dropped it off. He was very courteous and helpful.Nicholas G.

Had a car transport reservation for 9am waiting 45 minutes to check it out return time was 7pm and I was back by 6:50 pm told by employee to park it in the back part of the lot and he checked it in then the next day I was charged an after hrs drop fee? The whole experience from start to finish, with the exception of the person who received the truck on return, was completely unpleasant. The store is a jumbled mess. No direction on what to do and where to go. The service reps are without personality and are lazy. It's clear they hate what they do. The whole ordeal of uploading and downloading is really inconvenient. The need to self inspect the vehicle is ridiculous. U-haul should know the condition and if they want you to sign off on it they should be present during the walk around. Having to do it with the app is clunky and time consuming. Time I don't have or want to spend. The rates advertised are 100% misleading. What is advertised as a $19.99 rental turns into $120 just like that. I booked on the app and for the life of me could not figure that one out. But more than all of that, the most disappointing part is the customer service. It is a big ZERO at this location. I will certainly do my very best to avoid ever renting from U-Haul in the future due to the clunky and customer unfriendly method of the whole renting experience with the app and need to verify condition. But most certainly I won't step inside the Livingston street Allentown location again.MARK R.

Don't advertise your rental trucks for a set base amount and then when your potential client shows up tell them â€œif you go over x miles you'll be charged for it.â€ Why would you advertise for a base amount of around $140 and another plan for $24+$.67/per extra mile? It's like you're trying to scam people by advertising those differently. You're crooks and are fucking people over. Thank you for your time.Reilly C.

Gave me a truck with a broken/smashed drivers side mirror , with no warning and still had to pair full price. The man who did the order spoke so quiet and gave no information that was helpful. It was like he was asleep. I didn't know how to return the truck. The location itself is hard to get to and dirty. I wish I had asked for a discount but I honestly just wanted to get out of there.MELISSA M.
Purchasing multiple trucks and majority of them except one all had foot tracks inside the drivers area and wish it was cleaner. I also wished the man would of told me to do the 360 walk around with the link provided but I didn't and was charged full price for gas even though the truck I got was empty and I gave it back the same way received and was charged a full tank when I bought it back which was a lot. Need to work on better communication and tell the customer everything up front.ALEXIS R.
