This review is not relevant to the issues we experienced. It took more than 45 minutes to checkout because the application was not able to process our information. Fortunately the location was able to check us out. The truck then was taken 6 miles where the battery died. We had to wait 5 hours for the truck battery to be replaced. It took over 5 calls for the repair to be completed. Then when we returned the truck the next day, we were charged for a second day after the UHaul customer service representative confirmed our contract was extended with no additional charge. We have used UHaul repeatedly over the past year and never had these issues but then we work with individuals. We are now forced to use a faulty application to rent under maintained trucks. Our engagement with UHaul customer service was unsatisfactory as none of the statements and assurances was true. The employees at the location was the only acceptable part of this experience. We will no longer use UHaul as the equipment, applications and service is substantially below acceptable standards.

The entire pickup with mobile phone is dysfunctional. It malfunctioned upon picking up the rental and I had to change my reservation to in store pick up that delayed everything. Then I needed an extension and was told inaccurate information and charged additional fees. Currently disputing.

Hazardous parking lot. Your vehicles need to be brought out of that ditch for customer pick up. Slid down the dirt n gravel slope and ended up in the ER with 7 stitches in my knee.

truck celan enough. I clicked on mobile service by mistake and did not realize that the onsite person could not help if that was the case. That was a big pain.

You might have a wheel bearing going bad on this truck. Something is squeaking. The cashier at this gas station was very helpful when the UHaul app failed.

This is about online experience. Very frustrating. Photo app does not allow you to upload photos from gallery nor does it save photos from webpage to phone. Plus upsale is annoying.

The vehicles are kept down a random gravel driveway where you have to maneuver sharp metal posts in the ground. Itâ€™s horrible.

The services didnâ€™t know how to change my reservation to a one way. He kept calling his supervisor, but they still was unable to change my reservation to a o e way. On that following Monday, I received a call stating that the trailer needed to be brought back to where I rented it....sad. I then called corporate office and it was changed by them to a one way.

Customer service was poor and not friendly. The location and the time was changed on me twice. I was not told the truck was available sooner. I only discovered this because I called to see if I could get it earlier. The two gas station attendants weren't helpful upon pickup and did not even walk us to the truck or even tell us where the truck was. I will not use U-Haul next time.

There was only ONE staff person who was managing the gas station, convenience store AND U-Haul Rental. He did as best he could, but it took forever, and there was a long line of customers buying things in the convenience store.

Apparently, the van I rented had not been cleaned before I rented it. The van was dirty inside and there was half eaten food inside of the cab. It seems like this location is undermanned, because the owner of the franchise waited on me, and she was the only one at the location. The owner has always been friendly and very helpful!!

I am more concerned with the online reservation process. Confusing and doesnt work. I get there for my reservarion only to discover somehow my bbn reservation was double booked and me and another gentleman had rented the same van. He was there first so I told him to take it. Then there were no more cans so it took an hour to get this all figured out get and get me into a truck that was too big but I was desperste. Then the return process was not explained. I asked an employee about it and he told me to put the key in the box. I did that and left. Then I receive d an email stating I was late and needed to check out while I was there. At this point I was an hour away. I called and got a very unsympathetic customer service rep who informed me that I would be charged $20 late dropoff fee. I asked to be transferred to someone else. The young lady I spoke to told me that all the instructions are in the rental agreement. She was going to try to get the $20 waived and was going to apply a $50 reservation error discount. All in all not a great day. Moving my 87 year old mother into assisted living. If we were late there was a $450 charge from the rehab center. I ended up having to spend $100 to hire a trs sport company to move my mom because we were not going to be able to pick her up by 3:00 because of the late start we got because of the entire double booking situation. Overall I'm quite dissatisfied.

Mobile pickup was a terrible experience. Will never use it again. Specifically, the 20 minutes I had to wait for verification only to have my card authorized five times and never successfully completed the pickup. I had to start over with the desk clerk to pickup my reservation. It took probably a total of 45 minutes to pickup the truck due to the mobile app

Do not go to this location if you cannot pick up the trailer coupler and connect by yourself. There is no one to help you hook and unhook. There is no one on site to inspect the trailer at pick up and return. Take good photos and document any damage before pulling out.

Attendant was not there at time of pickup. Online check in took 45 minutes. Once arrived, Attendant didnâ€™t help bypass online check in for 30 minutes Online check in process does not communicate where documents fail to load or where improper information is entered. It just accepts all info. There is no indication of when to properly ask for help when youre awaiting approval. Chat support uses a different process than the in-store clerk causing confusion where the issues exist. The online application approval process is junk. The In store clerk was terrible and unprofessional

It was average, truck had been used like moving trucks are wasnâ€™t showroom quality but didnâ€™t really expect that going in. Met my needs for the day thatâ€™s all I could ask for. Computer system seemed slow but I wouldnâ€™t put that on staff. Think it was Uhaul system

I rent from here often as Iâ€™m a home stager. Trucks are normally clean. Mine had tons of trash in it today. I had to sweep it out before I used it and throw out socks, fake nails, band aids and a Gatorade bottle before I could load my truck. Gross.

HORRIBLE! The people running this shell uhaul location are crooks! We had the rental for less than our reserved time and returned it in the exact same condition yet we had to fight with the woman at the location to get charges fixed and she claims we didnâ€™t return the trailer for 3 days when thatâ€™s absolutely not true!! We asked her to check the cameras and verify when we dropped the trailer back off and she was reluctant and said there was nothing she could do but she was over charging us! Thankfully customer service at corporate stepped in to help and things may finally be resolved but this is unacceptable business practice and we will NEVER RENT UHAULS OR BUY GAS FROM THIS LOCATION AGAIN. AND I WILL TELL ALL MY ANNAPOLIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
