Picked up my reservation for a move and the truck had a quarter tank of gas, during a gas shortage..... Every station was out. How do I know? I went to 3 on my return trip in an attempt to replace what I had used. I called In & Out Market on my 3rd stop and was told that I would be charged a refueling fee per UHAUL policy and that there was nothing they could do. Absolutely unacceptable service and treatment. Poor Customer Service. Charged $20 dollars for after-hour service even return the truck 30 mins before the time. Charged $10 for Dolly not used, charged $7 for clothes. Not a good Place to rent trucks.sudheerkumar R.

i needed to go behind the counter in order to help book my rental as he barely knew english - i had to step him through the 'next' buttons of his own UHaul scheduling system. I had to re-enter all of the stuff i did online. I was so happy that I was billed correctly as (1) I wasn't given a receipt when I returned and (2) a friend of mine said he was overbilled at the same location (after I told him how crazy my experience was). I'll go to the Sterling or Leesburg locations next time for sure.Michael J.
The person who helped me there would not give me time to read the contract before I signed it so I did not know what I was signing. When I later got the contract by email, I saw that the drop off location was wrong. I had to call the 1-800 U-Haul number and was on hold for an hour before someone helped me and changed it.Glenn D.

The manager at this location charged me a $14 safe move coverage that I didn't ask for or request when reserving the truck. I called after I got the receipt and he said there is nothing they can do. He could barely speak English. They basically robbed me of $14.Dustin G.

My van was not ready, then the person gave it to me dirty, with no gas, and then u haul tried to charge me for driving 600 miles when I drove 40 and for not filling up the gas tank. I rented the car for two hours, please explain how I drove 600 miles?!Jason F.
I arrived at the location to find no moving blankets were available as ordered on-line. I had to drive to another location to get blankets. The service was friendly and helpful but I would be unlikely to go back for fear of the same kind of surprise.Christian R.
The cashier had me wait while he took care of customers that came after me simply bcz I a U Haul costumer. U Haul seems to be a costly business for them. On the end he apologized and it was all good. I forgot my driver license there, he gave me a call to picked it up. When I arrived he told me I owed $7.70 which I paid on the spot.Mamadou O.
This is for uhaul in general. The mobile check in and out is painful and I love mobile apps that provide independence. If you can work with a human, the experience is better in this case. Also, no info on the app regarding equipment- every time I have ordered a uhaul in the past the hand truck (that I rented) was in the truck ready for me. In this case it was not so when I went Puck up my furniture, i didn't have it. Frustrating. The gentleman who helped me was very nice.Jennifer J.
