I was scheduled to pick up at 5 pm. I arrived at 4:40 pm. The truck was there & ready, but I had to wait until 5 pm to get the truck. Not real sure why.

After getting the truck and at first all seemed to be smooth sailing. But the distance to my home where I was moving from was not far. However, on the departure to my new home in Winder, GA, once on the highway the needle on the temperature went into the red zone. Indicating the engine was over heating. This caused us to stop and wait for engine to cool down. This caused my arrival time to take longer than expected. Very unhappy with this rental and also a risk to our safety. You may contact me at 706 247 5352 or my email. Perhaps this locattion should check first to see the rental truck is safe for all occupants. Uhaul needs to provide rentals with full tank of gas. Having a tank that is, for example. slightly over 3/4 full requires the customer to watch the gas gauge as they fill up to try to get back to the original fuel level. If over then Uhaul gets free gas, if under (based on Uhaul's discretion) Uhaul charges a high fuel rate. In the future, I will NOT rent a Uhaul vehicle unless it is filled up. This allows the customer to just fill it back up before returning.

Because he told me one price and charge me more didn’t give no receipts for me renting the truck and doozie went from$19.95 to $57.00 I know I had to pay for mileage but he’s saying I went 95 miles but I didn’t fill the truck up and still got over charged to much. Poor customer service.

A U-Haul outlet that is a convenience store with only 1 employee working is unacceptable because when I brought the truck back the clerk could not leave the store to check the extremely leaky box truck in, therefore my concerns were not addressed. The U-Haul regional manager could not be reached and would not return my voicemail that I left. The U-Haul contact for email did not return my email either. I thought I was a good customer , as I have used U-Haul many many times with no problems, now I feel taken advantage of. Customer service is horrible

I had previously reserved a truck at a different location off of north avenue in Athens, GA. Upon arriving to the office I was informed that they did not have a truck available for me. Apparently two customers had not returned their trucks and this was why. I was infuriated because as a customer with a legitimate reservation, I expect a truck to be ready regardless of other customers. The employee stated she did not have any “one way” trucks available for me to take despite there being at least 30 trucks in the lot. I was willing to take a different size truck but still i was told I would have to return it to Athens which did not work for me. Instead of providing me with one of the trucks I was told I had to find one at a different location. She began to call around (not so happily might I add) and luckily there was one available at the shell gas station. The shell employee was very helpful and for that I am grateful. Although it worked out, I have the feeling the uhaul employee at the original pickup location would have left me without a truck if they didn’t find one. I find this completely unacceptable. I have used uhaul many times in the past to move however this makes me consider never using the company again.

Truck reserved for 2:30. Truck was not there when I arrived, was told that it could be "hours" until they got it back. I asked them to take my number down and call me when it got there. An hour later I was driving by taking small loads in my car to the storage unit, and the truck was sitting outside, yet I had not been contacted. Half an hour later after unloading my car and still not being contacted, I went to the location and got the truck, which took about 30 minutes do do all the paperwork. When I returned the truck after only going 9 miles and filling it with a full gallon of gas, the needle was in the exact same spot as when I started, yet the guy told me I needed "several gallons more". I have pictures of the dashboard showing this. I left without complying, and will be contacting uhaul about receiving at the very least a refund for whatever gas related charges were added to my bill

There were not enough staff available to process the uhaul clients. There was a long wait and it was very disorganized. Renting additional equipment was not clear and I ended up with additional things that I did not need. I am concerned that I was overcharged.

Vehicle had ants, stalled multiple times in a parking lot, and was not swept when I received it. There was dust and gum throughout the truck.

The uhaul reservation system is flawed. I did not pick up or drop off at my preferred locations. I was not informed of that while making the reservation, but only after when I checked the reservation email.
