when I returned the truck, the gentlemen said he could not check it back in as he no one else to watch his store. He said I would get an email a few hours from now stating it was closed. Well, I did and noticed that I was charged $11.25 for 3 gallons of fuel. How's that when I filled it up back to 7/8 of tank at his Shell Gas Station. I have the receipt, and I took a picture of the dashboard with fuel and odometer reading. Come on U-Haul...Really.
STEVEN JI was sent to this location due to the original location I reserved from not having a truck. This location was over 30 miles away from the original location which meant there would be additional miles on the truck. After being assured by Uhaul customer service and this location that I would not be charged for the miles not only was I charged for the miles but I was charged for having to keep the truck additional hours due to having to wait at the original location over and hour and then having to drive almost an hour here to get the truck! I called and left a message for the area manager who has never returned my call. I guess my only option at this point is to dispute the transactions with my credit card company and fight with them about it.
SHANNON HTruck was fine. Service was good, even when the AFN had to handle a problem with down system. The only problem I really have is that the "right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing" in regards to the days that they promised me. There were supposed to be 5 days and 500 miles. It stated such on my final paperwork and in my app when I picked up at Tru Shell station. Otherwise it was a great experience. Im trying to figure out whether they overcharged me or not.
Mark CBetter service at pickup would be nice. I did not receive the furniture pads I signed up for, was unable to check in before pick up and nobody answered the U-Haul help line when attempting to pick up
