I have rented U-Haul’s from a number of locations in the last couple of months, and this time I was charged a cleaning charge. When I asked what the problem was he said it was super dirty, I asked what was wrong said it was super super dirty. I don’t agree, but I’m not gonna fight over $25. If he had a better description for me after what was super dirty, I may not have written this review. Additionally they would not answer the phone when I called yesterday to ask a question, and the day before I asked about getting some equipment, and he help me load it myself. Which is fine, but it’s just not the way other facilities do it. I will just be sure that I use the other facilities from now on.

My receipt says $80.19. I see I have been charged almost double. I guess I have to contact the location to find out why? I am very surprised at being charged such a higher amount with no communication.

I checked in for the truck rental on the Uhaul app, and was told by the clerk that I was "all set" and he gave me the keys. I got a call later that evening, indicating that the rental process had not been completed. The person I spoke with said that because there was no signed contract, I would have to return the truck immediately. I made it clear that that wasn't possible because I was using the truck and it would have been a HUGE inconvenience if I had to return it at that moment. The person warned me that "if you're pulled over by the police, you could be in really big trouble." To seemingly blame me for something that was in NO WAY my fault, and to insinuate that I could be in legal trouble for (again) something that was not my fault, is completely unacceptable. After a half hour on the phone (most of it on hold when the Uhaul rep said "I have to talk to my supervisor" multiple times), I was asked to call another number the next day, and speak to someone in the Scheduling Dept. To leave me hanging like that, not knowing what was going to happen, and forcing me to take action to resolve the matter, was completely unacceptable. The issue should have been resolved immediately, and there should have been an apology for my inconvenience and stress. I would appreciate it if you would speak to the local clerk, and make sure that he is not giving keys to equipment if the rental process is not completed. And please talk to your customer service people, and work with them to resolve issues without blaming customers when they did nothing wrong, and to enable them to resolve issues without having to inconvenience a customer by asking THEM to call back the next day. I would expect better customer service from a large company like Uhaul. I have always been satisfied with your service, but this experience was a BIG exception. I got charged $12.50 for fuel but I only used 4 miles total . One galón give you 7 miles . I won recommend this place to rent a truck .

This is the first time I’ve rented a uhaul and picked it up with a full tank of gas. I appreciated that soo much I wish they would always do that cause it’s so much easier to just fill it up when I’m done! The people were great!!

When I called to ask if I could return the trailer a day early the man said he was leaving in 30 mins for the day and I could just drop it off. I wasn’t comfortable doing that so rushed to get there (I was 20 miles away) so he could help to disconnect the trailer for me. It took 2 people to disconnect so there’s no way I could have done it myself. I left the trailer but took pictures verifying it was there. That same evening ( last night) I returned the truck missing 1 blanket (I found it today and can return) . However due to picking up a dirty ( smelly) truck in Lake Forest, CA I am now being charged for cleaning which I am disputing. I rent an average of 2-3 trucks a year and this location is my least favorite of any I used. Who leaves the site in the middle of the day and wouldn’t be back til tomorrow? His attitude was not one of customer service.

The owner tried to charge me for 114 miles when I had only gone 15. It took him 30 minutes to figure out that he had entered the wrong Uhaul truck on his computer. He corrected the charges. But I wonder how many customers he will take advantage of this way. Would not do business here again.

Went to pick up my rental and the location was completely closed down. No one showed up I had an 8am pick up time location was supposed to be open by 7am. Perhaps ther was an emergency I don't know but I was on a time crunch and needed to get things done.So I called 1800gouhaul and advised them of the situation. They were amazing and went above and beyond to take care of the situation went across the way to the other Uhaul location and they accomodated me...Uhaul customer Service was outstanding! Thank you

Tessa was very efficient and pleasant.???? I want to point out that your 5x 8 trailer is not 5’wide. It’s only 51”. I planned my load with the idea of packing my furniture a certain way. I had to turn it all around to fit in the much smaller direction, Your company should let your customers know that there’s such a difference in the actual size of your equipment. That’s All
