This location is the best, but. The u-haul website sucks
I rented a truck and returned it within 4 hours. I did not understand that I had to check in with a phone app as I had done my paperwork in person and no one told me I would have to use my phone to return the truck. I was then billed $20. for not understanding the return policy. When I spoke to customer service they told me to read the contract and that I would have to pay the $20. Don't you think someone should have mentioned that I would have to do this or face a penalty?? I will never rent form UHaul again. Jon Robson
I returned the van 2 days early, and was still charged more than the estimate. Each day was quoted as $79 per day. I was over on the mileage by 142 miles, and was quoted .29 cents for all miles over 2,000. How does the math work out that I owe $23.22?? Also the gas estimate was 12 gal to =5/8 tank. I put in 13..313 gal and I had to argue with the U-Haul clerk that it had 5/8 tank as he disagreed that it barely had 5/8 tank gas.
Don't over charge like you did to me !!

If WE chose 8pm as our return time, but it would have been the exact same price if we chose it a few hours later then how dare you CHARGE US for being 20 minutes late. That's a real dick move. We are moving!! We don't know how to drive a 26 foot long vehicle!! We couldn't get anyone to help us move because we are in the middle of a PANDEMIC and people are being urged to social distance. We ran into a few issues. It took us longer than expected. It was a very long, stressful, frustrating 2 days. Tensions are high and we are exhausted. We were 20 minutes late to the time WE CHOSE, which is pretty damn impressive considering all the issues we ran into, and you charge us for being late. For all you know, I may have selected 8pm instead of 9pm on accident and didn't even realize. Or maybe my toddler pooped right as we were leaving. Maybe we had trouble maneuvering a house sized truck to the gas pump. Maybe my phone was dead by the time I returned the truck so I couldn't complete the free after hours return on your website. Bottom line is its greedy and not cool to charge a late fee when up until 11pm would have been the same exact price. You should be ashamed for being so greedy. I will absolutely never use or recommend this company to anyone, even someone I don't even like. You should also probably reevaluate your morals too, cheating people out of their money because they ran into issues and were 20 minutes late to a THEY selected. You're greedy and inconsiderate and you suck. Penske, here i come! Okay, end of rant.

The system was down for over an hour and caused me to have to sit outside with all my stuff in the rain waiting for the system to work so I could get a truck. I should have been offered a discount or something.
My understanding was that this was a true 6x12 trailer. Actually, the opening at the ramp is almost 12 inches restricted. I couldn't use the trailer (Can am motorcycle wouldn't fit), had to rent another landscape trailer travel 60 miles to deliver cycle, return the 2nd trailer, pick up the U haul and return it--200 miles + of travel. Questionable description of trailer and not even a mention of a refund nor certificate.
Truck wasn't swept out. The couple ahead of us was promised a vehicle that wasn't available due to someone making a reservation after them. They didn't get what was promised and the agent handling this did a very poor job. In fact if he worked for me I would have terminated him. (the agent) It left a poor image of this location with me. This place isn't the same since Don left the former manager (general?) This employee needs coaching in customer service.
We rent the van a lot from this location. Always a great experience.
I do not believe that the website, nor the App, indicates that the CDW must be purchased at time of rental, increasing the cost an additional $10, even if customer had acquired his own insurance policy separately. NOT GOOD!
