I called the day before to ensure they would have the blankets for hte truck I reserved. The response I recieved was "if you requested in on your reservation, they will be here." They were not there, needed to drive to another location to get them. They were not expecting me, and didn't know what they were doing.Edward B.

They over charged me and said I drove 38 miles when I drove 10 and also charged me for insurance that I did not purchase. I disputed the balance with u-haul and provided proof with photos of the odometer and you all checked my original online order/reservation and saw that I did not select the insurance coverage. U-haul customer service sided with me after I provided photo proof and refunded me $45.05. This location is also in an unsafe area in Baltimore and I would never go there again.Trevor H.

24/7 process is a complete and utter disaster. I booked for one location and had to go to a different location because my vehicle was not available at the location I selected (I've been told this happens, so I guess not the end of the world. However, don't offer a location if that vehicle is not available). Then, when I arrived, my reservation â€œexpiredâ€ because the website continued to have issues locating me and verifying that I was at the correct location. So, I had to rebook. Then after more issues with uploading, I waited several minutes for a rep to verify my information. Then, AND ONLY THEN, I was asked to provide an alternate contact for them to call. Why this wasn't asked when I initially booked the reservation is still a mystery to me (as well as why it was asked at all. What if I didn't have an alternate contact? Makes absolutely no sense). So I provided a number and had to wait for the rep to physically call that person. I do not understand this policy at all. So, an hour after I arrived I finally got my code to get the keys to the truck. I then continued to have issues with finishing up the pick up. This was due NOT to connectivity issues, but due to issues with the website. So much so that I was issued a ticket number after several attempts to upload verification photos. Unless something drastically changes I will NEVER rent from U-HAUL again, and will share this with anyone I know who considers renting from U-HAUL in the future.Sean L.
When U Haul knows this location will be open at 10:00 than why they accept my pickup at 9:00. I was waiting on that location from 8:45 AM to 10:00 AM. Keep calling 1-800-Uhaul but they are busy because of high volume of calls from 8:55 AM to 10:00 AM. So poor customer service. Now on the top I am being charged $199.80 where my rental amount was $135 + Tax. So I am assuming there is $65 Tax in this uhaul ?Tahir F.
Bad customer service. The guy couldn't get my name right. He made several phone calls to another person in another location to give me access to the Uhaul. There were people just hanging out in the building being rude to my family because he couldn't see the tv he was watching. I had to wait 30 minutes for someone over the phone to confirm that I could get my reserved truck then I was told I could only use the truck for 4 hours. I have never been told how many hours I could use something that I paid for.Nedia M.
The location seems pretty sketchy surrounded by many homes with broken windows or boarded up windows. I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with the services but I would recommend future customers who pick up at this location not during business hours (mobile pickup) to refrain from going at early or late hours of the day for safety concerns.Song F.

We were supposed to pick the truck up at a different location but was not told they didn't have any trucks until we got there so we had to then call and drive to this location. Was overcharged for number of days and fuel when we had refilled it to above the level we got it at. Very unsatisfied with the service.Meili S.

My order #29659357. I have had a terrible experience with Uhual and this location. I made a reservation online and also did the fast checkout online for a rental on this past Saturday. When I arrived at the location there was no line and still a 30 minute wait in order to verify the reservation. This delayed my move tremendously. The person at the location was dealing with an offsite person in order to verify. The online method was purposeless. When I informed the guy that I would be returning the rental to a more convenient location I was told that I would be charged a fee. In all of my past experiences with UHAUL I have never been inconvenienced this way as he told me that I must return to this exact location. While making the online reservation is was listed that it was optional that I return to the pick up location. I would have chose a different location if that was actually wrong info listed on the site. I also informed the guy at the location that I had declined the SafeMove online upon making my reservation in which he stated he has nothing to do with anything from UHAUL and that I would have to call customer service to discuss this. I was still asked for my license to make a copy when in fact I had did an express check in and submitted this info already. The actual rental was not kept on site or on the parking lot of the location. I was given the keys and told that the UHAUL was located on the side street across from the location. An inspection was not completed at all of the vehicle, or miles or gas.. although no damages appeared to be present. A receipt was not provided until 2days later so I could not see the fees until today in which I called the location to dispute charges and he told me to call 1800GOUHAUL.The representative that I spoke to once I called customer service was very understanding and apologized for the bad experience. I am awaiting my refund for the SafeMove that I declined during online reservation. I would not recommend this location at all.Amber C.
I had to call to confirm my reservations because they never called me like I was told by uhaul customer service that they would. I was given all the pick up information from the Pratt st office over the phone except for how to proceed thru the app during pick up to unlock the box were the truck keys were kept. It took me 40 minutes in the middle of the night in THE WORST neighborhood in the city to get through to customer service to figure it out. Fortunately the cab driver I used to get there was kind and did not leave me stranded there to figure it out but I had to pay for his time so the 10$ cab ride cost me 40$. Worth it for my safety but very frustrating and an added expense to an already expensive trip. I would never recommend uhaul to anyone.Carmella B.

I called and asked to speak to the clerk.I stated to her I returned the vehicle on 11/14/2018 at 11:00 pm and parked the vehicle on the right side of the street, and I put the keys in the drop box. When I challenged her and told her I didn't like lies she got defensive and thought I was talking about her. I need this matter resolved. This location is a mess, she didn't want to give me a receipt. This business is so unprofessional I will not recommend a dog there.kim H.

The 1900 W Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21223 location isn't a pleasant, professional, or courteous experience. I saw that they had low ratings through the uhaul online system but I took a chance. I think those other customers may have experienced what I did in the pseudo-professional customer service and patronizing attempts to raise the charged amount at the end of my rental through manipulation. I was able to have the extra-day charge refunded that they placed without prior notice and with full options assumed. However, the additional mileage they reported at the end of my rental period (4x what I noted driving on my gps that day), was improbably high and incorrect. I spoke with the area manager who was helpful in intervening afterwards, but be careful.Nathan W.
