One of the worst experiences of my life. Stupid, ignorant, rude, lazy idiots at the Belle Glade facility(grocery store). They lied about my getting a dolly and blankets AND I returned truck with MORE fuel than was in vehicle when picked up. I did NOT receive my receipt until almost 24 hours later....... duh! I talked to Corp/Arizona - a very professional and respectful customer service person who forwarded my complaint to a regional manager. My “adjusted” bill still charges for fuel. It’s not really a matter of the dollar; it’s the principle of dealing with unscrupulous people who take advantage wherever possible. I will NEVER consider using UHaul again and ....... I will be needing a rental vehicle again shortly. I would rather purchase a truck first. Coincidentally, the people who moved into my vacated home were ripped off also 2 years ago from same facility. This time they used the UHaul in South Bay, FL and got the same ripoff on the fuel. Is this UHaul’s SOP??!! If so..... shame on you! You can do better and still make a profit. Shame!!!!

This venture was a horrible decision on my part but had no choice. The vehicle worked great mechanically; thankful for that. The inside of the truck was very dirty. I was supposed to have an appliance hand truck and one dozen blankets according to my contract. Neither was there. I had to drive to another location and was told they were there. When I got there, only 10 blankets were available and I only got a small standard hand truck No appliance hand truck. I will do my best not to use U-Haul again. The contract produced on line has nothing to do with what the site will have. In fact, the pick up location wanted to get upset with me when I was only trying to get what had been agreed to.
