Took over 1 hour for your call center to answer my call to reserve a truck. My final bill sent to me twice from your call center was not legible. The repeated long wait on phone is unacceptable. Only reason why I tolerate it is my local branch manager Carol King Benton Harbor M139 location gives me exceptional service. Trucks are clean and well kept. The phone center is deplorable. Your parking lot is crowded and difficult to navigate with the equipment. Suggestion: stage the trucks for pickup in a location that is convenient for customer pickup and pull-out. A customer should not be concerned about potential damage before they leave the parking lot.Timothy V.
The truck had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. I put $100 of gas in to fill it up as soon as I rented it. When I returned it after my rental was no longer needed there was a half tank of gas in it. Approximately 1/3 of my gasoline purchase ($33.33) was still in the tank with no way to get it out. I like your old method of full tank to full tank better.Rick B.

Picking up the trailer was fine. Trying to return trailer was terrible. Drove into the equipment return line with two other trucks. There were a couple employees going in and out of the storage units and saw me, but none came up to ask if I needed help. After sitting a few minutes, I realized that no one was in the two trucks ahead of me. I went inside and there were no employees behind the desk. There was someone else waiting for help as well, but it looked like he'd been waiting a while also. I ended up having to back the trailer onto M-139 to get out. Later my coworker brought the trailer again to drop it off. He also had a bad experience doing it, although he did eventually get it dropped off. Overall, very bad and inefficient experience. Management needs to figure out whatever the issues are because it was bad enough I don't plan on ever going back.Benjamin W.
This is the best U-Haul customer service I have ever received in 20 years across multiple states. Eric King and the people checking me in were so good at their jobs and absolutely excelled in handling an overflowing parking lot after a snow storm.
