Vehicle had so many problems. I wasn't able to drive this vehicle on interstate roads. Please check the condition of the vehicle before you rent it out to the customers.
Extremely rude staff member who wasn't ready to listen forget talk in a civil manner. Even the guy who was on speaker mode for giving auth code for our credit card asked her she doesn't have to yell if he asked her to repeat what she said. We also drove to first location for 35 miles, 8 minutes before pick up time you changed our location to another 40 min drive. Insane. Never using u haul again!
Customer Service is important and this location needs to improve... was not welcoming or friendly.
Have employee follow Covid guidelines - wear a mask, social distance, etc. She did not check out my towing package (as stated online that he/she would), charged me for property protection (insurance) and would not/could not give me a refund after I refused to sign the invoice and told her I neither requested nor authorized the charge; she did not help nor oversee the loading of my trailer, she just pointed to a gate and said "go in there, come out there." I had to drive around the complex to find the trailers. Then I picked out mine (she never confirmed I got the right one,) and hooked it up myself. I never saw her again and just drove away. She acted like she could care less I was there.
The experience was great and there isn't much to improve for the next customer walk-in customer. However the online experience for the U-Haul associates should be far more intuitive. When a customer completes all requirements online to include uploading documents and prepayment the system shouldn't prompt for completed tasks during the customers visit (destination, address, phone numbers, etc...). And on the customer side the system needs improvements. I uploaded my drivers license photo (front and rear) and data specific to me. A couple days before my reservation I continued to received notifications to upload the previously mentioned documents. This was a bit annoying and generated skepticism relative to the success of my online transaction. Also the Terms & Agreement Acknowledgement task needs a highly visible radio to initiate the process.

The woman working there was kind of rude.. she was away at lunch when we arrived to pick up our rental so we had to wait for her return. When she returned she took her time in opening up even though she saw us there waiting, I walked in and greeted her nicely, she did not even greet me, no customer service at all, just very matter of fact. Definitely need to work on her customer service skills.

Uhaul changed the pickup location on a reservation that had been made for a week, but did not notify me until the day of the pickup when I was at the original location. As a result, I wasted nearly an hour of a very busy moving day. This location was good and the employee very helpful in correcting the Uhaul mistakes.
They did not have all the equipment I ordered and said they can not take it off the bill. The person at the counter was saying that she does not work for Uhaul. She text Kevin (Uhaul manage?) to ask about the credit he said he will do it but it still have not been received. Truck had much more damage than what was marked and the app did not work
Employee Mark was friendly and had a great attitude. Employee Joy was rude, never smiled and talked about me without talking to me. She should not ever serve the public!!
Returned my rented blankets. Got a phone call from this location saying I didn't return my furniture pads and the back of the truck was "completely empty." But the pictures I submitted of the truck on the app literally SHOWS the quilts in the back still in the packages. I didn't even use them!
The lady I spoke with initially told me I HAD to bring the uhaul back to their location, which was a 30 minute drive. When there was a uhaul drop off 10 minutes away instead. I called someone else and they told me I was free to drop off the uhaul at any located. I'm not sure if she was confused by my question, but uhaul personale should be ready to advise their customers that they may return the uhaul to the nearest rental center.
The truck still had glass case, dirt, grime, etc... in the cab. The back of the truck had a suppository and other "stuff" on the floor of the truck . The rental only went down hill from there. Truck drove terribly. The mirror vibrated so bad that you could not tell how many people were behind us. The truck consumed fuel at 7-8 mpg. way to low! The handling was bad entire trip which was scary at best. It makes me wonder if I should ever rent from UHaul ever again,
This location was great, but uhaul sucks. Do not ever just think that an email and text message are actually confirmation of your reservation. If you do that you will not get what you want, where you want, when you want. Uhaul is miserable with a halfway decent customer service department that just fixes what everything else screws up.
The girl who assisted us was very quick and professional !
Extend the rental time because things happen that you have no control of thank you.
Truck was not ready no one called to notify me before I arrived then had to wait at least three hours for another truck was available it was not this location it was the vestavia hills location
Picking the equipment up at 7am shouldn't be an option if the location is t open at that time.
The staff provided us with the special rate quoted.
