This was a horrible experience. First I booked the truck for 9am and the store owner taped a sign to the door saying they would open at 11am that day. Then U-Haul did nothing to help me. I pushed my movers back and â€œsucked it upâ€ to pick up the truck at 11am and the store owner wouldn't give me the truck I booked because he doesn't do 1 way moves. Explain to me how a customer is able to make bookings that can't be fulfilled. If I could give a rating lower than 1 star I would. U-Haul is the worst and I will never be using it again. They screw me over every time.

Was unsure if this was the right location as no other uhaul trucks or signs were displayed.
would be nice if the uhaul was backed in so it would be easier for the customer to drive out. other than that everything was great.
Have the staff be more fluent in the english language , lack of ability to communicate contract terms and understand my desired drop off location . The truck was not washed and cab interior not cleaned out .
I did not ask to have this as a location. I asked for another one, 12 KMs away but only a day before I received email that this is the nearest location to pick up the truck. That's not only inconvenient but also costly because I had to drive 12x2 KMs out of my way and then pay gas and extra mileage. Uhaul, you need to change your ways because you are already expensive before this unnecessary cost.
Just have better knowledge of uhaul rules and regulations. A lot of my paperwork got messed up. Ends up being very frustrating and worrisome for me. Super friendly and very nice though!
Kenny at Penny's (pick up location) was awesome! But, I booked online and U-haul changed my pick up location without consulting me. Online customer service chat was useless and just kept giving me a number to call. I called and Donna was wonderful and changed my pickup to my desired location. Next time I will just deal with staff at Penny's.
Don't send your customers to another town to pick up a vehicle and then give them a hard time when they ask for a mileage credit!
This location did not seem to know how to process a truck return. Lady did not walk around the truck to inspect for damage or check the gas level in my presence. I was charged extra for fuel even though it was at the correct level; Uhaul customer service promptly refunded this amount.
was sent to wrong location, received call from uhaul I call back and you are closed. Truck had a hard time staying in Reverse.
truck needs new wiper blades
Truck was fine however the trolley and blankets were not in the truck as ordered. The person in the store was looking after customers while trying to figure out how to process the U-haul truck. She had to call her brother whom I suspect should have been there. She overcharged us for the truck. Thankfully your office people were very helpful in resolving all issues.
Clearer signage. A key drop box. A person to answer the phone for questions. Applicable parking.
The place was ok but I wasn't impressed that I returned with the same amount of fuel I left with and they said it was lost so I was charged an extra $30.00. I am not impressed at all
I was originally supposed to pick a cargo van up at the rue Bridge location at open, but no one showed up to even open the place. I called the head office and they found another van for me at another location, so I had to take a cab way farther away from my destination. At the St. Jacques location, the guy working looked like he just woke up/was high/didn't want to be there. He gave me the wrong paper work, the wrong keys and the wrong van after taking his sweet time to input my information and flirt with me. I reserved a van online for eight hours starting at 9:00am, but I didn't get in the van until after 10:30am and I was only given six hours or else I would have been charged another six hours if I was late (not the information provided online). Upon returning the van, the computer froze and he couldn't fix it, so he had to call someone in to fix it. I am sure that he overcharged me, as well. Because of the extra kilometers and the two cab rides I had to take because of the location, my quoted $52 rental turned into an over $120 rental. Not impressed. Go with Discount or anyone else. Please.
Rental was good, some miscommunication on the website about the insurance being mandatory. And I had to drive back right away to get the dolly I had requested because it wasn't placed in the uhaul cargo van when I left.
I was quoted by phone 19.95 plus mileage costs but never once told of the 15$ insurance. The truck smelled extremely bad.

U-HAUL is an excellent company. However something is wrong with this center. The management on this location is extremely rude and not bothered for the customer. Its a take it or leave it attitude. Guys if you want hassle free moving do not book at this center.
The cargo van I rented was not maintained properly. The right sideview mirror was missing, making it very hard for the driver to see anything to the right of the vehicle.
Je trouve dommage que Uhaul fasse affaire avec cet etablissement. A cause du manque de connaissance du commis, j'ai du payÃ© 50 dollar de surplus en essence. Je ne recommenderai pas a mes amis a faire affaire avec vous. DÃ©solÃ©.
The staff at the pick up location was not helpful. He printed out a contract in French and had me sign it without asking if I needed to see the contract in English or not. He changed my original drop off location ( Orleans ) to some other location in Gatineau ( about 40 kms from Orleans ) and he assured me that he has kept the drop off location "OPEN" for me. So that I could drop off anywhere in Ontario without any trouble. Also the trailer was not well maintained from outside. The associate moved the trailer out of this storage but refused to assign it in a direction where it would be convenient for me to drive out of the parking lot ( without backing up with the trailer attached). When asked to please align the trailer properly he replied "its not my job". He did not initiate the inspection of the trailer. He did not initiate the safety check ( brake lights and indicator lights functioning properly ). I initiated those checks. I was not told which number to call if I have any trouble. Really poor service, I felt like he was doing me a favor.

Je m'y suis pris 3 semaines d'avance pour faire ma rÃ©servation (Mascouche, 7 aoÃ»t 2012), pour le concessionnaire 306 Cremazie Ouest. Moins de 24 heures avant la date rÃ©servÃ©e (25 aoÃ»t 2012), on m'a annoncÃ© que je devais prendre le camion Ã l'adresse ci-dessus (6120 St-Jacques), soit 13 kilomÃªtres plus loin, sans parler des rÃ©parations de route qui font rage dans ce coin (DÃ©carie). Et Ã©videmment, je me sens un peu flouÃ© car ceci a Ã©galement causÃ© le dÃ©passement du kilomÃ©trage allouÃ©, mÃªme s'il fut minime ($2.21)
