After returning the vehicle as per the rules and contract with uhaul the staff did not input the vehicle as having been returned so I was charged an additional 147.73 and had to call them so they could fix it and send me my money back which I then had to wait to get back into my account. If the staff had done their jobs right I would never have had the money taken to begin with. It was unacceptable.

The fellow from Brandon told us to fill the fuel tank before going to Winnipeg. We didn't need that much gas, so we spent too much on fuel that we didn't need. Brought it back with almost 3/4 of a tank instead of 1/2! Love to have that credited back to me.

Before attending the location, there seemed to be some confusion about whether our reservation had been entered into the system. We did not receive email notification two days prior confirming the reservation of the truck, so we had to call to confirm. Once it was confirmed, everything went pretty smoothly.

The outlet (ABC)was ok..but the Brandon bus Lines where I ordered the truck was incompetent.I did not receive an email that my outlet was changing..phoned the dealer (BBL) about arrangements for the key..she couldn't find my order but said she call me back.never heard from her..went to the outlet and she had left for the weekend.The whole experience was a nightmare!.Plus the rude surprise of having to pay more because the difference between out of town and in-town rates were never explained to me.Horrible! Horrible! Will never deal with Uhaul again! ironically a friend of mine who was moving at the same time used ABC Auto outlet and had just as horrible time..ordered the trailer thru BBL and was never told ABC was handling it.I have used Uhaull in the past and both times everything went seamless..funny how a company can slide downhill..

This was an absolutely awful experience. Went to pick up the u-haul at 1 and the rude woman (apparently the manager) said that my rental was at 4. I told her that I changed it and I showed her the text from u-haul that I received showing the 1:00 time. She did not care one bit! She took her purse and I assume went for lunch, leaving the nice young lady to deal with it. I had men hired to load it for me and came from Minnedosa. We drove back to Minnedosa to continue packing and then drove back again for 4 to pick it up, I was lucky that the men I hired could change the time. When we picked it up she then took an additional 1/2 hr to complete the transaction. She then told me I need to be patient, REALLY!!!!!! I have been waiting for the truck that I booked for 4 hours and she tells me to be patient!!! This is a very rude, ignorant woman!! This is a horrible place and since then I have heard of other terrible stories from there. Why is such a place representing u-haul???? We stopped at the Advantage Auto location and that gentlemen did his best to try to find a truck for us. We made it to Winnipeg at 10 pm then the next morning your u-haul place in Winnipeg called to see if I would be dropping it off early in a friendly voice. When I told her no, her friendly turned to not so friendly!! I rented from u-haul before and had no problem at all, if this was my first experience I would not do it again. You need to close out her business and deal with the Advantage location!! People are already stressed when moving, dealing with a person like that is very unnecessary!!! I hope that you at least respond to my comments.

This location was awesome, however every about the reservation was awful. The reservation was made weeks ahead of time and confirmed, yet the day of it got changed and no one let us know. The time and location was changed and we were unaware. When we went to pick up the uhaul we were told of the changes. Then the lady at the new location (advantage) was rude and said we were late 8 hours (although we were not told of the changes) and then insisted we had to return it a day early. We canceled and went back to abc where they helped us find something that would work. At the beginning our whole uhaul experience was awful, but abc helped make it somewhat better.

I requested 2 dolly rentals with my online order and was not given any, the back of the truck was filthy and had to be cleaned by us before we could load it, and there were a ton of moving mats just strewn all over the back of the truck, mats i never requested but had to fold up and put away in order to get them out of the way of our move. The man inside was polite and friendly, but the truck was returned in better conditioned then it was given to me. Also I tried to originally rent a 20' truck, and was called many times with truck changes, i went from a 20 to a 15 to a 10 to a 26 or 27 footer on the day of. I haven't received my invoice yet, hopefully they honor they're word and charge me the $29.95 rate and give me my first 20km's free, but if i get charged extra for this truck i will be heard from in a much more negative manner. All in all this experience was not what I would have expected from such a well known corporation.

The store level was great. However before I even had the vehicle loaded on my dolley I was texted and emailed by uhaul informing me I would have to return my rental to the location I rented it from. This would be 200km extra travel for me. When I contacted uhaul they informed me it was an issue on their end. I'm not sure why they thought I would burn a bunch more fuel in my vehicle and take 2 hours out of my day to do uhaul a favor. No discount of any sort was offered. After talking to uhaul I was allowed to return to my original destination

Was frustrating that there were no available UHAuls in our starting location and we had to drive 5 hours (there and back) to go pick one up. Customer service was nice, but when we arrived at the UHAul location we had to wait 15 minutes before the staff who could help us showed up.
