Rental return was not processed for two days then I was accused of damaging the vehicle. When I called location back for clarification Tthey became angry and hung up on me. Terrible experience overall. Would not recommend.

This time around it was quick. Most of the transaction was done on my cellphone. Seems the less they deal with U-Haul customers the better for them. This place has a history of it's dislike for dealing with the U-Haul part of the business. Need fuel for your car, they'll help. Need to play lotto, they'll help. Need Dunkin Donuts, they'll help. Need a U-Haul van, they'll help with a cringe and depending on who's helping, with an obvious attitude. Anyway, they confirmed my reservation, entered some info in the computer, handed me the keys to the rental and instructed me to complete the process on my cellphone using a link they texted me. Took a few minutes to look over the pictures of the vehicle in the link and then take pictures of the dents on the vehicle which weren't on the pictures in the link to then submit the pictures back to U-Haul. This location is a gas station and is open 24 hours. So I returned the van earlier than the time I originally planned (around 4am) The clerk at the counter just wanted to know where I parked it. No other questions. He told me to watch out for an email later on today to confirm my return. About 30 minutes later, after I was already at work, I receive a text reminding me about the rental return and the link in the text asked me to confirm the return on my cellphone and allow the link access to my location in order to confirm that I indeed returned the vehicle to it's proper rental location. I was already about 3 miles from the rental location and unable to go back just to confirm a location. I also wasn't able to make calls to confirm my rental return. I have been renting from U-Haul for many years. I understand the reasons for the many changes. However, the need for me to be on location in order to confirm that I have returned the vehicle to it's proper location after hours is a bit ridiculous. I get that this location has business hours for U-Haul rentals. However, once the vehicle is returned, especially after hours at a location like a gas station that is open 24 hours, there should be access to the U-Haul system to at least confirm returns. Perhaps a barcode on the plastic U-Haul tag key holder that can be scanned upon returning the vehicle. I recommend this location providing the rental return is done during U-Haul business hours. Van was fully fueled & interior was clean.

Very unprofessional location. They charged double, I had to call twice to close the contract and get refunded for the additional charge.

We ordered a cargo van to go from Brooklyn to Moorestown, NJ. I got an email saying that the cargo van was guaranteed and reserved. 2 days later I got another email sending me to another location in Brooklyn since the first did not have a van. We went to the other and were notified at the time of pickup that Vans are not allowed to go only 1 way. It not only delay us more than 30 minutes, due to the fact that now we had to take a cargo truck for only a few things to pick up, but the difficulty of parking and driving that truck through the city and subsequently, all the way to Moorestown was far more difficult. I did call UHaul today and Jim was great on the phone. My only complaint now is that all we got was a $50 refund. The gas cost me almost $30 and I am sure that the tolls were more expensive than the Van would have been. Plus the fact that driving a cargo truck is much more difficult and quite honestly, not as comfortable. Sorry to say, but I will be very reluctant to rent again from UHaul in the future.

Great place to rent a Uhaul truck. Very accommodating staff and really good clean trucks. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

Customer service was horrible the one person who wasn’t horrible was the first person to call me to tell me the van wasn’t available but that’s when everything went south! I had gotten a text message that morning that the location has been changed to 394th 4th ave so I call to confirm that it will be there when I’m on the phone I get another text saying the location changed again to 1610 BUSHWICK Ave so I asked the rep where am I picking it up he says 394 4TH AVE he doesn’t know why they texted the other address I said okay. Once my driver got to 394 they told him no your van isn’t here we don’t know where it is then it switches to oh yeah it’s at 1610 so I ask is my van actually going to be there they said yes so my driver goes the van that I ordered wasn’t there but they would give me a different one mind you this is a whole 45 mins after the time I’m supposed to be picking up and paying for! Now my driver calls to tell me it’s not paid for and they can’t use my card because I’m not there but it’s on the file to be used as PAYMENT! Now I have to send my driver the money for this and it’s more than what I was quoted online! Mind you every employee at this point has either given my driver and I serious attitude one “supervisor” was very rude while I’m trying to figure out where my van is I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL

I just can't understand where bunch of fees came from! Tomorrow I'll go back over there to get a clear explanation where in the world they're charging me 700.00 for 4-1/2 Days,and dont gave me credit for the 1/4 Gas tank I left over at returning time! This is very disrespectful how they can't tell You in your face at returning time how much you'll get charge on your Credit Card!! They text You hours after it already charged on your card!!

Everytime I get a vehicle from this location I am over charged for some reason. I return the vehicle 3 hours before time and also took pictures of the time and mileage.

Sabi, the manager of the BP station on Bushwick Avenue was rude and unpleasant. In the middle of telling me To go locate my own van instead of helping me in the parking lot, he felt it was appropriate to extend help to someone else who was returning a rental and totally disregard me as a customer, meanwhile I let him know I was on a time constraint. Upon returning the vehicle he continued to move extremely slow and disappear into the back without closing out my rental and providing my reading to the personnel behind the counter. I will take my future business with uhaul to a different location and be sure to not recommend a location who has a manager that exudes poor and insolent customer service!!!!

The truck we pocked up from this location had not been serviced. After driving off, we made it about 10 blocks before the oil light came on and the truck completely shut off in the middle of Kings Hwy. We were able to restart it and drive to the nearest U-haul location at 5283 kings Highway. Upon lifting the hood they found a completely broken filter system, Zero oil and Zero windshield fluid. They we kind enough to do everything they could to fix it. In calling back the location we picked up the truck from, they were no help and could only offer we call the Uhaul help desk.

The front desk put the wrong check in time on my receipt and overcharged me. They put down 1:39pm when it was supposed to be 11:39am. They charged me two additional hours of use.
