The whole process was weird. My rental was for 9 am from a location in Waterdown. At 8,1 am i got call informing me that due to non-availability, i could go to another location (in Burlington). This new location was a nightmare. It was a Convenience store, with the lady, having no clue to my questions on the vehicle. All she did was handover the key, and asked me to go to the bigger location close by and ask my questions there. I had to spend 10 minutes trying to get pictures of the vehicle (from different sides), when I should have been on my way. This is the responsibility of U Haul, to make sure renters, are not inconvenienced in doing stuff that they (U Haul), should be doing. Yes, as a gesture for having to change my pick up location, mileage charge was reduced to 69 cents per km. Never going to this location again.
