Very worse experience. We booked for 11:00 am and went to pickup location. Owner ask us to do online registration even we booked online. Then he ran away for 25 minutes from store. We called customer care but didn’t worked out. We again went back to same location after half hour and the owner did manual registration. We wasted one hour and received very bad experience from pickup location and customer service. U-haul should compensate that and really need to improve their services.

Just let the customer know (during booking) that there’s a requirement to have a friend or family member awake to confirm ID while picking up the vehicle

I ask is it ok to return a little bit late maybe 30minutes before I pick up vehicle and the front desk guy told me no problem, but after I return the vehicle he charge me double of rental fee, and he said he’s middle guy, all u-haul charge. I think thats his responsible to tell customer will get delay charge if return late.

The U-haul representative (Marco?) spoke poor English, was unhelpful, blaming delays on your computer system although it took repeating a phone number 4 times for him to understand it. His computer skills are minimal at best and when I asked what I was signing when presented a document he replied "the paper" "the document" not explaining what the "Paper-document" was. The van was actually several blocks away from this location to which I had to walk both picking up and returning the van and it was not clean. Upon returning he wanted me to take a picture of the mileage and gas guage as opposed to him simply walking to the van and recording it. At this point the van was directly in front of his store. I will never return to this location for anything and am re-evaluating my decision to use U=haul for my needs. There are alternatives.

The U-Haul representative had no idea what he was doing. I arrived at the pick-up time and finally left an hour and a half later. He called U-Haul at least 6 times during the process to ask them to guide them/help him through the transaction. He kept starting the transaction over and over from the beginning via his laptop but kept blaming it on the POS system.

The location of the truck is impossible to get to. We drove around for 25 minutes just trying to cross boundary and find a parking spot so that we could get out safely and get the uhaul. Parking it on one of the busiest streets in vancouver instead of near the rental place is ridiculous. Our rental was 5hrs and it took an hour from the time we picked up the keys until we could find the truck, get in it and then drive just 15 minutes down the road to our house. I was pretty disappointed and it made for a very rushed move after that.

Was charged a $25 cleaning fee in-spite of filling in more gas than actually used during the rental. An area manager was supposed to call me, w.r.t cleaning fee, within 72 hrs of me talking to customer service but never called. Not impressed!

The location was great, thenUhaul equipment kept failing and we were there for almost an hour figuring it out (it still went on our rental time and in the end we lost that hour Of time with the truck) and finally I signed printed paperwork. Secondly, we drove 8 miles, out in $10 worth of gas and then was charged for gas. The gauge was not where it indicated at pick up.

There was only one employee in the store and we waited at least 20mins while a problem with a previous customer was sorted and another person had been waiting before us. The process itself was fine and dropping off was easy.

I was so disappointed in booking my very first U haul rental experience with this unprofessional location & wouldn't recommend anyone to the location. I took me 20-30 mnts (just waiting for the guy to deal with his mini market clients) to make my booking & I tried to check in online on the previous night to avoid any delay at the truck pick up time in the morning. to my surprise the guy(who name was Marko) gave me very hard time to let me to get the Van.I provided him 3 friends contact no/s for the alternative phone no(which is required by the system), unfortunate it was Friday miring & work time... they were busy or sleepy & no one was answering the phone & he wouldn't accept to put any of the contact no on the sys to let me go. I even offered him my Id to keep till I bring back the Van & get it back. he was telling me that, I cant give you a car & go to another location to get a car & he was insisting me to leave his shop. I was so frustrated & tried to find someone so he can talk & let me to get Van that I badly need for my moving out purpose. he even didn't want to show me where was the Van..he just gave me the key & told me go down the road to the next block & ou will find it yourself! I told him that i will give a bad review for his service & he was rejecting to let me to get the Van! (( Totally negative experience with this guy & location)) He also told me that,the car roof is not covered by the insurance & mast be careful... which was another funny thing. (its my first time to see that the car insurance doesn't cover the car;s roof)! Thanks

I know that know one cares about these reviews but I’ll rant anyways. Went to a “U-Haul Station” , a bottle depot for 10am to pick up trailer. I was told we would have a hitch waiting for us to go with the trailer no hitch I then had to drive 15 min buy the hitch and then return we put the trailer on and then realized there was no electrical plug for the trailer frustrated I did not want the trailer and opted for a truck now. I spent 35min waiting to talk to someone to let us know about getting a truck. They then sent me to another U-Haul location a convenience store spent about 2hrs there the convenience store clerk was nice but had no idea what he was doing. I finally got the U-Haul truck by 230 a long time after I wanted it. The prices are outrageous and the whole experience was terrible I know U-Haul doesn’t give two shits about my experience as I’m sure I’m just a small fish in a big pond. But you guys suck! I will never use you guys again (not that you care) but you wanted my experience so there it is! Rant over if for some reason you guys made this right by cutting me some sort of deal on the hefty price of a truck I might change my tune but 4.5 hrs to get a vehicle not cool. Have a great day to whom it may concern which I’m sure you guys will just read this pass it around the room and laugh at the sucker who had such a shitty experience.

Actual pickup location For the truck was not provided. Took a while to find the truck (sitting in some back alley). Need to provide physical address for the truck pick up location. The process for the truck pickup was very long.

I was charged two days rate for only 2.5 hours use and the owner told me because I returned the van late. I got the van at 4:30pm and they told me they close at 7 and I should come back before 7. I was back 3 mins late but the store is still open. They are not honest! When I ask Ed them why I was charged for two days, they said they only do paperwork and don’t know. I would not recommend this location!
