This location was a multi-purpose location (An auto body shop in a small town) that is likely a franchisee or representative for U Haul. Even though the rep for U Haul wasn’t there, the auto-body shop manager took the van return, and all details, and promised to pass them on to the rep. I am satisfied.
Sanjay ChoudhuriNightmare of an experience. Truck was dirty, hood was opened, cab had fast food containers. Truck started slow & stalled. Owners stalked, threatened to harm us. Owners and reginal manager accused us of stealing the truck. Reginal manager called the sheriff to have us arrested for GTA. Battery died on the truck and owner towed away truck with everything inside and threatened us again with violence. We were forced to unload the truck at our storage unit not our destination. The truck was left in storage yard till near midnight before it was taken away. I had to spend the night in the storage packing everything into where it wasn't supposed to be or came from. Then we were over billed for the whole experience. This is one of the worst experiences in our lives. UHual threatened us with violence, stole everything we owned, derailed our move causing loss of property, accused us of theft, and wants near $1 000 for the experience.

RICHARD MEAGHERDrop point was not sent to me until after i had rented equipment. It was not in the same town i had selected for drop. Then i was told by 1st call center person that i would have to drive it 30 miles back down the way i had just come to drop it off . The only drop point in the town i had selected refused to take the equipment. I finally got to the "managers" supervisor and he arranged for this drop site . The personnel was helpful on site but service was spotty so i couldnt check it in myself. When i called the call center back i got the same "manager" for my initial call that refused to help me and again she refused to help me and said i HAD to do it myself and she " could not do anything " and if i didnt i would be charged more money. With my phone dying i had to go back to my place get a charger come back and tried for another 30-40 mins to get it to work . When i called the call center back i got a different person she was helpful and gave me instructions and that was finally over . All in all i will get my equipment somewhere else
