Cell service isn't the greatest, maybe install a kiosk for rentals and returns. Lady at desk was real helpful Sunday 8-30 @ 945 when I'd been their 30 minutes trying to return, she offered to call her boss, hold keys till 330 than they'd check it in. Sorry anxiety when I'm responsible for something I don't trust others very well, knew $ was really tight couldn't afford additional charges. Thankfully Brother n law lived close by he came to rescue his phone loaded there.Jana K.

Reserved pickup time of 4:00p meant nothing....arrived @ 4 was told the lady would be back in 'bout 30 mins, she was back in 20 mins and then counted money and bsed for another 10. When she finally got to doing my paperwork and got me going. Was scheduled to return trailer 4:00p next day showed up @ 3 and was told to drop trailer and I would be done, tried to drop trailer but could not lift off of hitch...called the number on store and was told to hang on and someone would be there....wrong!! Finally ask a pass buyer for help and got the hell outta there.Larry H.

The location was just very unprofessional. I called earlier in the day to verify my order and the woman had no idea what was going on and told me I would just have to call back when she was in the office and acted annoyed that I had her cell phone number, which was the number I was given on the website order. When I arrived I waited at least 10 minutes while the lady answered calls for her meat processing business, then while I was signing forms she left to talk to someone else about meat processing. I was standing there with the signed papers another 5 minutes waiting for her to return but there were 3 other people in the office that completely ignored me. I finally asked them if they knew where the woman went so we could complete the rental so one of the women came over and took my papers and handed me a key. She said she didn't know anything about the rental and I had the key so I could just go. She didn't even know which truck was ours so we had to just go match up the numbers on our contract and keys. The whole office just had the feel that we were interrupting their main business and they just wanted us gone. Everyone was unfriendly, unwelcoming and unprofessional and even though this is the closest location to my house, I will not use this location when my house sells and I complete my move. I will, however, try another location in town because the equipment was in good working order and I was satisfied with the rental.Kimberly G.
We went to pick up the UHAUL at location at 1:00 eastern as planned since we lived 25 miles away. We were told by the renting associate when we arrived that she was busy and we had to wait for her to finish unloading a truck before she could process us. We sat and waited outside until 3:30 eastern in the hot sun because the office for us to wait in was filled with cigarette smoke and I have smoke induced asthma. She finally got to us after a friendly chat to a friend and a smoke break. She wasn't well versed with the system and had to redo our information. She explained they do not have appliance dollies or blankets. We went to view the truck and were also told it was on 1/16 a tank. As we viewed the truck we noticed appliance dollies in the back and she told us our order was already made and that we could bring them to the office. My husband drove the uhaul to the office and put her dollies in there and they were covered in grease. She told him it was just mud and it was okay they knew where it came from. We arrived home an hour and a half later at 5 after filling up the gas tank. We pulled out the loading ramp and my husband almost fell off because it was slick. The smell was like fryer grease. Upon further inspection we found out it was indeed old used fryer grease and it was over the entire uhaul. Because it was Sunday night and we had a deadline the next day we spent 3 more hours scrubbing and washing the floor with simple green and dawn dish soap with a industrial broom. It wasn't clean but it was enough to get my belongings in there if I put down something to stop the grease. At 10 pm we started loading and we where 8 hours behind. I had to delay my mov-in time, We were exhausted and I had to have an extra day because the boxes couldn't be put down in my apartment without something on the floor. We finally got to the mommas attic and there was a huge puddle of what looked like tree sap that soak through a box and ruined some clothes. I have used uhaul before and this was the.most horrible experience in my life. My husband and I have moved at least 30 times between childhood and now and our families always used uhaul. We have even had one break down and they fixed it. I cannot imagine ever going back to that place as it is nasty and the people are rude and they have a concession stand that uses fryer grease. I feel like I was not appreciated as a customer and that I was a nuisance and that they thought it was okay for my stuff to be ruined. I am mortified and angry.Lisa V.

When I receive the truck it was left dirty and disgusting. My furniture and other items were stained from red dirt, my Mother was there as a witness to the condition I received the truck in. Also trying to fine somebody a price that is more that than the cost to fill it back to half a tank is not justified. I filled it to half a tank before I dropped it off. It may have went down 1/8th a tank getting it to the drop-off location, that is understandable, i will pay that but i will not pay anything outrageous, that is unprofessional on your part. I know I signed the contract to bring it back half full, I failed. I know in the contract the truck was suppose to be clean when I received it, you failed. I'm surely positive that there can be an agreement between both parties to where we can both benefit from this. Also the drop-off location receptionist said I should not have a over-mileage fee for a one-way, so I just wanted to clear that up to. The girl who helped me was very nice and efficient. The problem was that it was a pick up location only. There were no services there. I think that should have been communicated up front. I had trouble getting the trailer on my hitch and there was no one there to help. I did get it finally. I also had to go get an adapter, I have been used to the dealer having what I needed. The trailer itself was great. It pulled like a dream!Robin B.
Have the equipment ready on time. Don't have Angie (I called her at 0843) or Peggy(I called her at 0850) in customer service. When I got to GA I was told the carrier wasn't ready so I called customer service.Angie transferred me to a supervisor's voice mail. (No help). Peggy put me on hold for 5-10 minutes. I called a lawyer friend of mine who said give you 10 more minutes. Jenifer saved you a trip to small claims court. The next time I'll use some one else and pay more for better service.RONALD T.

Assist in de-attaching the trailer, show some interest in the process, the office smells bad, when we called for directions to the location the girl who answered was clueless and gave us incorrect directions. Bad attitude on the phone as well.Ronald C.
