I didn't deal with the location much, as I used the app to check in and check out. Truck was clean and had no issues though.

They do not inspect the returns, just tell you to leave it beside the building. Then they wanted to keep my rental receipt. He was not rude at all, in fact he was very courteous and friendly. They just have poor business practices.

This place was a gas station. The person who was there did not know much about how to do a uhaul rental. It took for ever because he had to stop taking care of me to check out client that came in store to pay for items or pay fo gas. This was the worse experience I have ever had. I will never do business there!

Everyone I talked to and met in person was wonderful. Unfortunately everyone I spoke with on the phone was pretty bad. I was called the day prior to my reservation after 5pm and told there were no trucks available for my Noon reservation until 5:30pm. Then I was told there was a truck near Bastrop. When I was upset the caller told me it was a "reservation request" not a reservation. Then just let me know that if I didn't want any of the option there was someone who would take the truck if I declined, making it feel like Uhaul as a company can put people in these situations because they don't care for their customers as they overbook reservations and the next person will likely take it. Pretty poor experience. The actual place I ended up picking up the truck from was super nice and great.

I changed my drop off location from Houston, woman from Houston made the change and waived the doubling of my fee without letting me know (She was amazingly helpful). I called and asked a question from the Austin rep because the location I was given was no longer a uhaul location. He told me that the fee would be doubled and denied that they had given me that location. I literally have the text message from UHaul saying where it was and he implied I was lying to him. He told me their was nothing I could do because I had signed a contract and I was going to be charged 1700 extra dollars no matter what. I asked if I could just drop it off in Houston to avoid that and he said yes, transferred me over, they helped me get everything sorted quickly and painlessly. Austin Rep was rude and unhelpful and Houston people were amazing.

The beginning process and the ending process takes a little too long. If there is a way to speed that process up that would be so much better.

No time for customer. They are a convenience store/gas station Wanted us to take pictures of fuel and mileage we had no camera. We dropped keys in box and left. Treasure Chest across the street is usually where we drop off customer service 100%. Next time we ask for that drop off location. Uhaul overall excellent.

I was emailed to pickup at different locations. Once i got to the right place the person checking me in didn’t know why i was there. Also i wasn’t told until i was dropping of U-Haul that i could have saved lots of money by just returning U-Haul to the place i picked it up at. Not happy with my experience. I used a budget truck on my last move. I will probably go back to them on my next move.

Try not up charging! I rented 1 dolly was charged for 2, I did not get any moving pads but charged for 6, and I was charged for 3 days rental on the truck I had for four hours!!!!

I initially placed this truck on reserve at a storage place. I had informed the clerk that I would return the truck late Saturday evening. When went to the location I placed the reservation I was informed that I would have to go to Sunny Food convenient store to complete the rental. I picked up the rental and returned the truck Saturday evening. I was told I would be charged an extra day. This information should have been passed on so that I wouldn’t be charged an extra day. Now I’ve been charged twice which is unfair to do this because it was understood that I would be returning late evening. No one notified me of where I should pick up the truck. The location was changed without notice. Poor practices if I might say.
