Main reservation line(nationwide) had me going to Twi different locations for a truck and dolly/pads. Luckily the truck location had pads.

Person was nice. He help me get furniture pad. uhaul suppose to give me 3 dozen pad but when they change location they don't have all furniture pad. not satisfied.

There is a better Uhaul location off of highway 50 that is better suited for picking-up and returning vehicles. U-haul appears to be an additional income source but not their main business as apposed to the location of of US 50.

Hello - Well, to start - my experience in the office was CHAOS! The guy on the phone (Chris?) was great over the phone. But when I arrived to check in and pay, and pick up my truck, it was very chaotic and disorganized. I was passed along from one guy to another, and no one seemed to be in charge of the whole overall picture. And I almost left without being provided with the ropes to go along with the dollies that I had paid for! I had to ask them to give me ropes, and then they had to go to the back and HUNT for them! Then what they gave me ended up being INsuficient! Then, the MAIN problem was in the INCORRECT communication from one office to the other. I made my reservation on line for the Stonecroft location in Chantilly. But then when I called to confirm it all, I was told they could not find my reservation at all in the system! I was a nervous wreck, the day before my move! Then I figured out, from a confirmation email I received, that my reservation was moved from that location to a farther location from me, the other Chantilly office. This was SO CONFUSING!!!! And the guy at the HAMNI POST explained to me that actually, You, U-Haul, like to change our order to be at YOUR location, taking away the HamniPost customers! How UNfair is that?? And WHY was my cofnirmation email with the WRONG location?? It was all SO stressful! and It cost me a LOT of time, on the day before my move, to suddenly think my reservation was not there. And that I had to start all over?! The reason I made the reservation at the HamniPost from the beginning, was because they had the PIANO DOLLY that I for sure needed. The other UHaul office did not have one, nor did they even know what a piano dolly was! They tried to make it sound like it would all be just fine, yet they did not have a piano dolly. And they said that the dollies they did have would work ok. NO -- my piano was extremely heavy, and large, and REQUIRED a Piano dolly for the job to be done! It sounds like ILLEGAL DISHONEST STEALING CUSTOMERS, by changing the location in your confirmation emails! If you are going to allow sub leasing companies, like HAMNI POST, then you MUST allow them to have their own business! How DARE you steal my business from them?!?! Also - they told me I could park the truck there, leave it over night and pick it up in the morning, so I did that. But if I had not thought to ask ahead of time, they guy did not even offer to show me how to start the truck - where the ignition was, how to work the key, where the LIGHTS are, and where the WINDSHIELD WIPERS were located. These are important things, especially if you are driving it for the first time at NIGHT time! And further, when I started my move on Sat morn, I discovered that they had not included enough of the HOOKS to keep the Piano Dolly secured! So we had to make a temporary solution! I made the reservation online but still had to wait a long time to get the van that I ordered which I was told is not available and I was given a truck instead. I had ordered a utility dolley which was not placed in the truck and i didn't know it until I got to my destination. When I returned the truck there was n one at the desk and i had to wait a long time to make sure I got a refund for the dolley that I paid for and didn't get. This place is primarily an Asian shipping center with only one person manning the U-haul operation.

The signage and storefront make the office hard to find, since it is not branded too well as a UHaul service from the outside (there's a small sign in the window). But the service was so smooth and hassle free that I really do not mind.

Unorganized, I was the only one checking in to get a truck and it took a LONG time.. Someone had smoked inside the cabin....I hate smoke.

Had to wait to be noticed. Uhaul rep was unresponsive and left randomly (to do things I guess was related to my reservation) without explanation

The online check-out is terrific, but I did all of the pre-cursor things online to pick up the vehicle and it still too about 30 minutes to finish the transaction.

We listed 50 miles as our range and ended up traveling less than 40. We were charged over $500 and the receipt said we traveled 400 miles. We have the truck for about 3.5 hours which literally makes that impossible. How can we get our money back? The estimate was for around $110. Please let me know what we can do to fix this.

NO one in the building speak English well.. They was eatting lunch and it smelled BAD. And the have a lot of little business they are running on the side so it’s a small office with ALOT of people in it..

Truck was great, service was awful. Associate added on Safemove without my consent, noticed it on screen and asked him to remove, still ended up on the contract which I didn't notice until later. 3 calls to Uhaul since and nothing has been done. Uhaul could do better on many levels.

The location was not very visible from the street, and had no U-Haul paraphernalia for me to recognize where the facility was. As I arrived, the attendant flagged me around to the rear of the strip mall building. Once I arrived at the rear of the building, there was no one there to instruct me where to part the truck. I found a spot, and avoided colliding with anything, but there was also no walking path to get back to the front of the strip mall. So I had to walk around back to the front. By time I found the attendant, he asked me for the keys, and said thank you, and informed me that I would get an email. So, I guess I parked it for him, so that he would not have to do anything.
