Although I had submitted all my documents, I had to wait over an hour to get my truck. Apparently UHaul system was down. My movers were waiting for me to bring the truck which costed me $65 extra because of this delay. I want money back from UHaul.

Make sure you check mileage as customer checks out. I ended up paying for an extra mile that was not mine and at $0.79 a mile that can be annoying

They refused to accept the return of auto dolly. They said will accept only both truck and auto dolly together. Ridiculous. I threatened to call uhaul and then they agreed to take only auto dolly. Person has no clue how to read fuel gas level. Does not have working printer, so could not take my signature during return. Terrible!

This was one of the worst place one can think of. The lady at the counter was only interested in getting the money as per her calculation was make people leave. She did not have any idea of why she is charging what she is charging and if you question all she had to offer was a customer service calling number of UHAUL. At the same time she was getting angry for me not agreeing to pay as per he calculation. UHAUL has proved to be a crap company by not taking any calls easily from the customer service and then directing customers to franchises which are totally irresponsible and only bothered about the money.

U-HAUL app were not working. Lady at this location toon 30 min to give key. First she denied to give truck. Than after multiple requests and showing reservation on phone she gave the key of truck. Because of reservation issue spent around 2:30 hour just for pick up and follow up with U-HAUL helpline. Paid for 2 hour extra labor because of delay from U-HAUL reservation issue.

The truck we rented was clean and worked well for us. We had an issue when we returned the truck regarding the mileage but we were put in contact with the local Northern Virginia office and a wonderful lady, Donna, helped us sort it out. We were very appreciative for her patience and efforts! We will be using you again!

They barely spoke English so communication was cumbersome. Difficult to get help at all...couldn’t tell where to get keys from. The guy used his phone to set up up and HE added on coverage I had declined...I was supposed to pay upon drop off (as incidated online Several times when making my reservation) yet he charged me and my card at pickup AND it was for TOO MUCH. Yep, charged my credit card without my approval!!! Your online website clearly stated my credit card would be charged ZERO...It was just required to hold the reservation and I could pay by a different means at drop off...that was a lie...my card was charged without my consent. I was going to pay a different way upon DROP OFF. So this pickup site was a DISASTER!!

I spent 30 mins calling the location because I was running a bit late. The clerk that answered the phone was extremely rude. He looked up my information and told me he didn't have a truck for me. I explained to him that I had reserved the truck over a week ago. I got a text message to confirm the reservation the day before pick up. When I followed the texts instructions and called the location, the lady who answered said that everything was fine. He continued to say that he didn't have a truck for me that it wasn't his problem, that I needed to call the call center. I told him he needed to call. I ended up calling the call center as well and let them know what was going on. Needless to say to problem got resolved. When I went to pick the truck the clerk continued to be rude. Over all horrible experience!!!

Location was a mess and very sketchy. Truck was filthy. Employee in the building (that I was trying to turn in the keys to) had no idea of the smart phone check in process...so it wasted a lot of time. In the future, I will only rent from an actual U-haul store location.

They didn’t speak English there, they took 30 mins to find my reservation given my reservation number and band and showing then my paperwork. They had to call someone and manually reetered my order only to find out the woman keep searching the reservation thinking my name was Augusta GA. Plus I had reserved this a week ago and a location near my house. The night before pick it it was move 30 mins away. I should have been told at booking it wasn’t available at my location and I could have gone to another company.

They did not have the truck size I reserved or the number of moving blankets. I will not be using this location again since they are unable to fulfill reservations.

Better signage needed. The only way we knew it was the uhaul location was 1 truck parked in the back far corner of the parking lot.

We went into the place and they told us it is only done online. They had one truck in the lot so I signed up for it and it was the wrong truck number. This was figured out after credit card info was received. They then asked me to go in and do it again to see if I could select the other truck. Didn’t allow me to choose it. We were charged for the trucks and are now battling trying to get the charged reversed.

I rented this truck a week ago Sunday. I have been dealing with customer service every day since due to the lack of customer service the lack of knowledge and the pure ignorance of the associates with the U-Haul locations I've had to deal with over this past week as well as the poor responses from management with customer service center. First I only had the truck for about 3 or 4 hours I returned it under the mileage that was allotted to me and to the same location which was requested by U-Haul customer service instead of dropping it off at the location closest to my home they told me I would get a lower rate if I brought it back to the Chantilly location so I agreed to get the lower rate. I returned the truck after about 4 hours then on Tuesday my boyfriend receives a phone call from the Sterling Virginia location saying we never returned the truck and we will be charged every day until it is returned he proceeded to tell them that we did return the truck just a couple of hours after originally renting it and that it must be a mistake as we were told to return it to Chantilly not Sterling. The manager of Sterling. Incredibly rude saying that he didn't care it wasn't his problem nor his job to figure out what had happened and that he was going to charge us everyday until the truck arrived at his location. After this on settling phone call I reached out to customer service to explain to them what had happened as when I tried to call Chantilly location no one picks up the phone after being on hold for 45 minutes with customer service I finally was able to reach a live person. This person transferred me to a rental supervisor which the supervisor told me she was confused and didn't understand what happened and she would call each location to get to the bottom of it and make sure that it was figured out and that I wouldn't be charged anything extra and what in fact receive the lower rate of $58 since I was promised that if I returned it to the Chantilly location rather than the one closest to my home she never called me back Thursday I got a second receipt showing that I've now been charged twice once for $69 and once for $88 that's two charges equaling almost $200 for a three and a half hour truck rental. I called customer service again this time being placed on hold for 30 minutes finally spoke with somebody and they told me I was in fact charged twice and that this was going to be escalated and passed to the manager of this area so that it would be prioritized and taken care of as soon as possible as this is unacceptable I do not want to hang up the phone until speaking with a supervisor and getting confirmation that this would be handled as a priority. It's now Friday night I still have not received a call from a manager or any other representative from U-Haul. This is the worst experience I've ever had was any vehicle rental I usually go with Budget Rental because of the customer service that I've always received in the past being o

Our van wasn’t available, but they gave us a truck for the same price. I checked in on line, but it still took much longer than I expected. Also, the location was not in a convenient place for us, but other locations didn’t open early enough. Also, no one answered the phone when I called.
