The return form kept giving me an error when I went to submit it, so after two tries, I just left the keys.

Make it easier to tell where check-in/key pickup happens. The man inside the gas station wasn't able to give us much detail, and we were lucky the man who knew where to check us in overhead when I asked where to go.
The online verification steps should be completed well in advance of the uhaul pick up time in order to save people time. Checking references, taking pictures of the license, and taking pictures of yourself can be done way in advance. My truck pick up time was 9am, however I was not actually able to drive away with the truck until 9:45 due to the inefficient set up in place. In addition, your two step authentication to log in with your email is too slow. A code was sent to my email address, however the email did not come until 40 minutes after I requested it. Overall, the experience was bad and I would not recommend anyone to pick up a car without an actual uhaul employee there to make the process smooth.
It was extremely difficult to use the app to return and pickup my uhaul. After reading reviews, it looks like the overwhelming majority has had the same issues.
Online check-in did not work. Took 40 minutes after my pick up time to actually get the keys. Seems like it was more of a UHaul problem than the pick up locations.
I found some dirt in the cab so maybe have someone look over he truck in between rentals. Other than that no problems so good experience.
I had a specific time slot to my my apartment, however, I had to wait on the phone with customer service for 1.5 hours, because of this, my entire move time was cut in half and I had to return the truck late. The system for storing keys is both unsafe and unorganized, I couldn't get the keys as they were all misplaced and mislabelled. I'm shocked that this seemingly quick and easy set up cost me a lot of time and money and I will probably still be up charged.
This is a difficult and time consuming process.
The App is clunky. No option to extend and two much information. When you create an account your still expected to sign in and get a code which is time consuming

The pickup process takes forever because your page doesn't loads correctly and asks for information already provided at the registration. The truck didn't had the tools I rented on my reservation. Returning the truck toked an hour because again the system doesn't load and I'm sure I'll have to fight for extra costs when my bill comes. At the end of the day is not cheap and adds a lot of stress to a moving process.
There was no furniture dolly in truck though it rented it and was charged for it. Had to wait outside in the cold for almost a half hour in a parking lot waiting for approval and code to unlock key, while the movers were waiting at my apartment. So that could be improved. However, I was given a credit for those and it was very much appreciated. I will use service again.
I had all types of problems even though I did everything I was told online. The person at the gas station and on the phone was less than useless. I had to be called back by someone to get help. the links on my phone did not work for me. Somehow I got a little ink on me even though I did not have any. the move went ok, it would have been good with better ways to get a truck.
The driver approval process took place at the wrong time. To receive approval it took 10 minutes or so, with me needing to contact support to expedite. When someone is going to pick up a truck, they are on a time limit, so I did not anticipate needing 15 extra minutes to complete the process. If this was prompted to do prior to picking up the truck, perhaps day of, it wouldn't have been as stressful. Thank you, Olivia
Your online check in process is terrible. You should request the necessary info like alternative contact etc when I reserved the rental not when picking up
They didn't have the size rental I reserved and didn't even tell me, they just gave me the keys to the option they did have and I had to come to them to ask why they were giving me a different rental. Then, when we returned the rental 1.5 hours EARLY (and with less mileage than what I paid for) they charged us a late return fee the next day. There wasn't even a UHaul representative at the gas station they work out of at the time I returned the keys and they told me to leave the keys with someone from the gas station (it was 2:30 pm, not "off hours"). It took me calling all the next day to speak to someone to ask what the charge was for. They said I'll get refunded but I don't trust this will happen and I'll have to keep dealing with this horrible UHaul provider.
The pickup location was inside an auto repair garage. I made the area. There was no signage so I made the error of walking into the gas station. The attendee directed me to the auto repair area. When I entered, there was no seating as I waited for 10 minutes while the rep finished with an auto repair customer. During this time, people were working around me repairing cars. I felt unsafe. When the rep finished, he didn't apologize for my wait but instead walked me into a back area where he processed my order. The vehicle worked as expected, but this location appeared unsuitable for customers. I will not be returning.
I was really upset with the reference process! It's going to cause me to look elsewhere when needing a truck to move things. You had my credit card.. you had my drivers license.. why would you need to call a reference? That was one of the worst decided business moves a company could make.. needing to call a reference. Left me very upset the entire day.

Place not well set up to receive customers and you are not able to park your car on the property for a quick 2 hours rental. Pkis after i left with the rental i was told they gave me the wrong truck and expected me to come back. By then the truck was loaded.
Return process took 25 minutes, Daughter and wife waiting in the car for me. I spent 20 minutes being transferred between customer service representatives before someone could actually assist me and no one on site was able to assist me in any meaningful way. The guy who rented me the truck was quick and knowledgeable but upon return he wasn't there and no one else available knew how to process the return.
