They advertise a low price for truck rental and use every tactic to over-charge. I rented a 10 ft. truck for one hour and drove 8 miles. They charged me for two gallons of gas at $12.50. So does a 10 foot truck only get 4 miles to the gallon? I don't think so. One hour rental for 8 miles cost $46.

The U-Haul smelled like urine and was dirty. I complained to this location and they said they can’t do anything about it. I would like to speak to someone.

Roberta HSam’s treated me professionally and well. I do think you should tweak your billing system: It’s a bit cumbersome to actually charge the credit card based only on a mileage estimate. Why not wait to process the charge until actual miles are known. You already have the card number.
