The staff was friendly and kind.
This has been the third time that I have rented a truck from U-Haul. Overall have had a good experience. This time the truck was extremely dirty. I am not paranoid over this whole covid-19 thing but I feel that the truck should have been wiped down. I also rented a furniture dolly that was not in the truck and I was charged for. I will be renting again hopefully my next experience won't be so bad.
The equipment was clean yes but not well maintained. The AC didn't work on the truck I rented. It wasn't very fun driving around for two days without any AC.
The cab interior was covered in sand. I didn't want to be held responsible for cleaning it
I dropped the truck off but there wasn't anyone at the location to talk to. It was a great location for me because it was only a few miles from my home. Hard to rate the place when I could go in but the location was excellent for drop off.
We scheduled pickup before location hours. We did not receive a code for the security gate and were let in by a storage customer. Once inside and locating our rental cargo van, we were unable to use a valid security code to get out of the gate at this location. We were on hold via telephone for over 45 minutes and finally gave up when another storage customer appeared and let us in with their security code. Please make this easier for those customers needing to pick up and return outside of your opening hours.
Attendant (failed to get her name) was Super Helpful this was my first time visit to this location I was impressed with the care and cleanliness of the grounds, office, the van I rented. This is my go to place from now on
My reservation was changed (not by me) several times which could really have left us in a jam! The truck we got was not the truck we had information for @ self pick up.
I was treated with the highest respect And courtesy! She even got out in a downpour and unhooked the trailer. We were drenched but she just laughed and kept at it!!! I loved it because it told me so much about her and made me want to use them again.
The truck itself, after some repeated use, developed a smell that was not acceptable; as if there was some burning rubber. We drove it less than 30 miles. In addition, there was an oil leak and a spot the size of a softball developed on my driveway while being unloaded. There was no offer of any sort of compensation for the â€œnot so goodâ€ experience. That would have been good damage control.

Because it's also a storage facility the office is often not staffed. Ever occasion I was there I had to wait outside for staff to return. Also, my bill reflected the wrong coverage. The original staff said it would be corrected at checkout but it didn't happen. Only $5 but indicative of lack of attention to detail.
The staff I spoke to (a lady on 6/30/2020) was very rude. When I filled my uhaul, the gas pump clicked like it usually does when the tank was full so I brought it back. The lady at the store said my tank was not full and when the gas pump clicks, â€œthat doesn't mean it is full. You have to keep filling itâ€ even though the gas pumps say not to overfill because of fire risks. They charged my card an additional $62 without any prior notice sending my account into the negative and now I have feed to pay. When I called to inquire as to why I did not get any notice before being charged, I got a rude answer of â€œwell if you filled your tank to the correct level, you wouldn't have this issueâ€. When I explained that it's only right to notify the customer before charging them she kept repeating the same rude response of â€œif you actually filled your tank all the way, you wouldn't have this issueâ€ and she hung up the phone on me instead of giving me an answer. If I could rate this employee -5 stars I would. I work in customer service and if I ever spoke to a customer they way she spoke to me I would be fired immediately. She has ruined the entire uhaul experience for me.
Excellent service and location
Had to send my husband inside, even though we were told they'd come out due to my being sick. They would not answer phone so we could let them know we'd arrived.
i came in to pick up the trailer. i had forgotten my mask and was barked at to get outside. It seemed that i was more in the way than a customer. when the agent met me to attach the trailer, she was more upset with ants and appeared to not want to help check the lights. on my return, i was charged an extra day because i was 2-3 hours late. the trailer was not needed. Not impressed with this uhaul location
I stayed 30 min out of the location waiting for a code which never received. Please make easier the steps of the pick up. Thank you
The place we rented the truck at was fine. The website and procedure was time consuming and nonefficient.

This company can improve by communicating with customers that are trying to rent a u haul better. They don't answer the phones nor do they chat with you online. I had to stand outside in the hot sun for 2 hours because it took them that long to approve me. I am a truckdriver and my job is located about 8 miles from this place. It was the worst experince ever. They also need to have deals on driving long distance when renting vehixles
Although the pickup and return location, and, the trailer itself, were all fine, the internet-based reservation system was horrible for a one-way rental. The pick up time was changed and I was only notified by text, with no way to reply/dispute. Furthermore, the drop off location was changed, again by text, with no way to reply/dispute, and, the original reserved location to drop off was full. I had to pass four additional U-Haul locations and drive 27 miles (one way) inconveniently, to get to a location that would accept my return. To add insult to injury, I was advised that I may have to pay an extra $80 (although I was returning on time) because the â€œSystemâ€ or reservationist 'forgot' to allow me two free rental days (which was the current special). The guy at the return location was courteous enough to recognize the error and correct it for me. In return, and as a courtesy for the inconvenience, I received a voucher for $25 for the next time I use U-Haul. I don't think there's going to be a next time. There are too many willing competitors to seek out in the future. Not a great experience.
