RLM and Betsy was awesome, the uhaul company its self sucked, they didn't tell me location changed last minute, they didn't schedule me the right size truck, they didn't communicate with the pickup location. Overall U-Haul Edmonton is terrible and has no respect for the customer in my experience. Will not be using uhaul again. I would rather do 50 trips with a 90' Honda Civic hatchback.

This U-Haul location is excellent to deal with. Randy was easy to deal with and explained the details of the contract. He took the time to answer all of my questions. He also ensured that my vehicle was correctly tied down to the auto transport. I am very glad that I rented from this location.

The worker needs a bigger office. That office is way too small to have a desk and as much supplies in it as it does. There are a lot of empty offices in this trailer. Take some walls down and open the place up. People are more apt to rent/purchase supplies if it was spread out more. The room was stuffy, you just wanted to do paperwork and get out. I can't imagine working in there all day. Other than that, excellent customer service and equipment.

The lady on pick up and young fellow on return were the best customer service personnel I have dealt with in the 5 years I have lived in this area and can’t wait to see them again at the end of the month when I rent the next trailer for my final move, thank you for the excellent service.

Have newer trailers - when I arrived in surrey, the Customer Service Agent @ U-Haul stated that the trailer was a very old model and hasn't been seen or used in years

We checked 4 days prior to our date about payment, cash costs more??? So we put all of our cash in the bank (which is closed Saturdays) and head to rlm, their debit doesn’t work ‘never has since we got it’ we’re told, there’s a line up if people going thru the same thing.... then when we get back with more money Kathy starts yelling at Betsy (in an 8x8 room it’s pretty uncomfortable) in front of all the customers then tries to explain why she is yelling at her in front of all of us. I told her after the hour and a half extra it took us to get the equipment, that customers don’t want to be subjected to being in front of an employee fight. She didn’t care and kept telling us why Betsy knows nothing. Kathy is leaving soon so she could care less about customer service, Betsy will be a much better face for your brand. Until Kathy leaves we have told people to go to Bonnyville. Very very upsetting to get the run around and still had to pay the moving crew even though we were so late because of crappy equipment in the office and a miserable lady running it.

Make sure you keep Betsy working, she went way above and beyond! She just started but she is keeper, put her into a role where she can excel, I employ people for a living and would have her on any project I have. Old fashion hard honest work ethic that cannot be taught, you have it or you want it!!!

The trailer had issues that should have been checked prior to me being able to take it down the highway. The minute I put weight into the trailer ( about 700 pounds) the left tire went flat. I had to find a hand pump to pump it up before using it, and continue topping up the air on my travels. The other tire was new, why not replace both at the same time to ensure the customer doesn't have issues, Just my opinion.

Colin Hunter (780-718-3342) who does not even work at the pick up location was a pain in the ass. He should let Cathy run her location and mind hi own business. He was for ever phoning and interfering with arrangements I had made with the depot manager. Colin is actually a reason why I might not recommend using u haul in the future. The lady I spoke with went above and beyond to assist my late arrival to pick up the trailer. The trailer, however had some major issues and needs to be serviced. 1. Running lights did not work. I had to turn on the flashers of the car I was towing at night. 2. The ratchets were both seized and needed lubricant 3. The right tire strap was cut short and was frayed. I barely had enough strap to insert into the ratchet. 4. The trailer has a very bad shake, Tires need to be replaced. 5. The hitch bolt is bent and needs to be replaced.

The equipment was frozen in the ground due to the service person not putting a block under it, the lady could not dig it out, I had to do it myself and extra charge to use a debit machine was uncalled for, the price that is quoted should not have a 5% extra charge to use debit machine to pay for it

Gave me an american truck and set a trip to Edmonton as 350 Miles. Had nearly 180 prepaid miles on a truck that were completely unnesscessary. Restarted workorder that had a customer satisfaction rate, and cost me the perferred rate on the 10' truck they didn't have that I had booked online and charged me full rate for the "customer satisfaction upgrade" uhaul phone agents guarenteed me. Overall this location cost me almost $150 more than the trip should have cost.

Kathy was of great assistance
