It was okay but the truck was all scratched up and very dirty as I indicated when I got it and filled out in my review before hand! He screwed up drop off location had to travel almost 30 miles more to go to the west Jordan location. Our contract even has the Murray location. We waited on phone over 40 minutes to talk to a representative! Finally at 9 pm we gave up and drove to West Jordan!!!
The equipment was in good shape and it is a fairly convenient location (albeit with an inconvenient entrance only from the south). My problem was with the time it took to check in and out on the mobile app. In my case, my assigned truck's combination didn't work, causing me to take even longer as a customer service phone rep had to talk us through taking another vehicle on site. My problem was resolved but it was really time consuming compared to a live person.
Perhaps clearer signage can be available for those not familiar with the location. It wasn't abundantly clear where to pick up/return the truck. Admittedly I made a mistake and went in the out gate because that was how I got in to get the truck. The attendant was extremely rude. Instead of informing me of my mistake, he approached my truck, opened the door, and yelled â€œWhat are you doing!?â€ I said, â€œI am returning the truck I rented.â€ He proceeded to berate me about how dangerous it was to back up in that space. I did not back into the space, I had to turn the truck around to get it in the proper positioning. Prior to me entering the exit, he offered no clarification about where to go. Not impressed with the customer service for renting trucks there. I would be unlikely to return to this specific location as I have had much friendlier, more helpful experiences elsewhere. Thanks!
It is extremely difficult for the average driver to pull a 26 foot truck into the Narrow back area of the building. Especially to have to parallel park it between two other trucks within that narrow area. It would be nice to drop it off in front and have someone more skilled park it properly. We managed as best we could. The self pick up was a little difficult to figure out at first, but ultimately was pretty easy.
Maybe explain where to go to park the truck when returning it.
Answer the phone, provide common customer service without demanding smart phone connectivity during business hours. Or at least post a sign indicating your utter incapacity to conduct business.

There was just some old food scattered throughout the vehicle.
You guys charged my card twice, the uhaul was trashed, and you forgot my dolly. Will never use you again.
I was especially happy to have carts onsite at the storage facility. The manager, Zachary, was very accommodating and helpful.
Explained everything well and friendly.
The inside of the van was fairly clean but the outside was not at all. The weather was a bit crazy so that's probably the reason for the dirty exterior
Uhaul Rep was snarky and not helpful when checking out. Then I returned the vehicle in the lot where it was agreed and I was charged $178 for damages to the vehicle that were not done by me.
I made the arrangements & was told I could pay for the rental. Not the case the card had to b in Hades name. If the customer is making reservation they should be able to pay. That was my part in this

My first attempt at picking up the U-Haul from towne storage was a huge fail. It was a self check in got messed up and my reservation got messed up and I talked to 5 different agents at U-Haul and couldn't get the reservation fixed and truck picked up. It took 2 1/2 hours and never was resolved. The next day I was able to pickup the truck with a person check in. My move went alright but I was about 45 mins late and called to ask if they would work with me on the delay. Zack at towne storage informed me there was nothing they could do and I would have to be charged another 24hr payment. I wasn't happy and returned the truck later that around 11pm and because of being exhausted forgot to leave the key and clear it out and went to my new place 45mins south. I was charged $37.49 for cleaning and gas and $49.39 for the extra day. I wasn't happy this time at all with my experience. I don't know if it was the location but wasting 2 1/2 hours trying to pickup the truck and being treated as if my time wasn't important at all and then to top it off with them not being able to work with me on the delay return was unfortunate. I can honestly say I will never rent from this location and most likely never from U-Haul again because of this horrible experience. Customer service is the bread and butter of every company and with out it you have just a service that nobody enjoyed. Thanks
Truck smelled of cigarettes. Had to clean it before I felt comfortable riding 25 hours in it. When I picked up the truck I was promised a 10% military discount, the check out person said she couldn't do it but it would be credited upon check in (even wrote it on the receip) when I checked the truck in the wouldn't process the credit. Also I drove over 2200 miles and when I checked the truck out it had 3/8 of a tank of gas I turned it in with 3/4 tank of gas and you asses had the opacity to charge me $23 for going 59 miles over what was allotted. In addition I paid $17 to keep it an extra day (thought I would need it for 8 days total) but I turned the truck in 3 days early. As far as I am concerned you owe me nearly $250
the location was great however, the online process was ridiculously long and inconvenient. kept rejecting my access to the vehicle for no reason and asking for more documents and info! I had to try a couple times until it went through with the same data I provided in previous trials.
Please be more clear on what a customer needs to do if they are dropping off a rental after-hours. Apparently I was supposed to leave the key to the truck in a drop box. Either I wasn't told that or I forgot, I can't remember. It would have helped greatly if I was shown exactly where the drop box was. But I left they key in the vehicle and locked the doors, not knowing what else to do and having nobody to ask. I tried checking in the truck on my phone after dropping it off and locking the doors, but didn't know I needed to take pictures of the odometer and whatever else inside, which I could no longer do. So an employee had to check it in the next day for the added $20 charge. On top of that, I had to pay a locksmith to get the key out, which cost me another $160. Obviously, I wasn't very happy about that. I was also informed that I shouldn't have left the truck where I did on the side of the building. I asked beforehand where to drop it off, and was told any available parking space in the front. There weren't any when I got back, so I parked it in front of a different vehicle on the side of the building. I was told afterwards that there were parking spaces in the back of the building, but how was I supposed to know that? This was my first time renting a moving truck, so I didn't really know how it all worked, and would have appreciated a better explanation, because I did the best I could with what knowledge I had.
Difficult to get into and to park the vehicle I was returning.
I was charged for damage to the truck but the condition review was not performed with me present; therefore, was accessed and charged without my sign-off. Additionally the amount charged was a random charge that was not explained/detailed. I've used Uhaul many many times before and never had any problems but i'm very unhappy this time!! The truck was clearly very old and had a lot of difficulty getting into gear and made lots of problematic noises. I reviewed the condition of the truck when finished and saw scratches and dents all over the truck; clearly needing repair. These are not visible in the initial truck condition review pictures as they are taken from a distance. I would like to dispute this transaction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
The windshield was very bug-splattered and hadn't been cleaned. Other than that, all was good and very good service. I felt safe with the rental process.
