I paid for pads and dolly and was not provided it I have requested my money back many times to the dealer and uhaul no one seems to care or help me. This is stealing.Tyler H.
only thing is the truck I rented is not made for someone 6 feet tall, could not move the seat far enough back and it was very uncomfortable driving for very long because of that. Had to stop often just to stretch me legs. Other then that it was just fine.Kenny D.
This is my 3rd kid I moved to college using U-haul. I will not use U-Haul for my 4th child. 1. I requested a smaller truck that was confirmed the day before and then they gave me a 20 footer. I did not want a truck that big that is hard to maneuver and is tough on gas. 2. I requested and paid for furniture pads (12). They were not included. I called and just told them to refund my card which has not happened yet. I guess you can say that you guys stole money from me. 3. The truck assigned to me was in horrible condition. The body was beat to death. To better serve your customers you should give the customer what they signed up and paid for. My 4th child will have a truck rented from budget or Penske.Michael G.
Truly unprofessional experience. Scamming employees. For starts the truck was not full when we picked it up. Had 3/4 of a tank, not full. They gave us $7 and said there was nothing we could do. Then they said my card was declined, which it wasn't, so I had to leave a cash deposit. They told me I could immediately get my deposit back once I dropped the truck off in Covington. That was false. In Covington I was told I had to wait a week before they'd send out a check to reimburse my deposit. Also the Covington office hadn't open yet when I dropped the uhaul off. My return time was for around 11:30. I dropped it off CLEAN & EARLY around 10am! They called me back claiming the truck was TRASHED, and saying I would be charged a $25 cleaning fee, which was one of the most upsetting lies I've been told I'm a while. The truck was definitely clean. They claimed it's was so trashed if ppl returned trucks this way they'd never get rented!! I couldn't believe what the lady was saying to me. I got upset and hung up. Only to see that the $25 dollar fee turned to $51! She charged me a after hour return fee but I clearly turned it in early. This lady is literally scamming me for money. I feel like the lady simply was trying to get me for whatever she could get. I told her I wasn't arguing and to take the $25 and hung up but I guess she wasn't happy and racked it up to $51. These ppl should not represent this company. Super disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. I have no issue w paying a cleaning fee if it had been true but the fact is it's an absolute lie and a horrible way to address me about it. I just wish I had got her name, but surely she wouldn't of gave it to me. I hope this message goes somewhere, she should be held accountable. But whatever the case, God Bless.Madaline L.

This rental was a nightmare for some reason my rental got double booked and the person who received it cancelled the PAID FOR reservation. Then leaving my bank account with not enough funds to REPAY for the rental. This however was not even remotely my fault. This was Uhaul's fault for canceling my paid for reservation. After spending 4 hours on the phone with Uhaul customer service i was told there was nothing they could do except move my rental for another day. I was moving ACROSS THE COUNTRY. I had a 19 month old in Indiana with a baby sitter that would not be able to watch him any additional days due to them having to work. I then had to pay the baby sitter $400 for them to call into work to cover that day of pay they lost. I explained all of this to U-Haul. Again was told there was nothing that they could do. I agreed to just book the Uhaul for the next day finally and was then told I had to pay an additional 60$ because the rates were different! MIND YOU AGAIN NONE OF THIS IS MY FAULT UHAUL CANCELED MY PAID FOR RESERVATION because there were 2 made. I only made one reservation. I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone ever again. I had previously got a Uhaul a week earlier so this company had already got 1200 for a rental previously from me but this MULTI MILLION dollar company couldn't bite the bullet this one time for their mistake to make this right for me. For their mess up. Never use U-Haul I'd much rather pay another company more money to avoid U-Haul in the future.Ashley B.

I have nothing against Eagle Nest everyone was very nice ,but because of U-Haul my weekend of moving was a nightmare I wish it was a dream.Me and my family have used them many of times but I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone .U Haul have received the last $309 .00 from me . I'am very disappointed in how they handled business they unprofessional actions really put me in a very bad situation of moving .Very very disappointed in the service I have received, never never again would I use U-Haul for service. I would only recommend Eagle Nest for storage not for U-Haul hope my comment would really help someone not to go through what I did .garland A.
Personnel at this location was very helpful. Unfortunately, U-Haul completely messed up this reservation. They confirmed my reservation yet did not have the equipment when I arrived. No effort to communicate. We were forced to drive an hour out of town to get a much larger truck than we needed. Very dissatisfied with U-Haul's poor corporate management and poor reservation performance.Steven E.

Extremely dissatisfied with my U Haul experience! I had confirmation for one location(close to where I needed), then got a text day before I was moving with confirmation of a truck to another location ( 6 miles out of my way - just to go get and drop off truck ). I requested a 17 for $29.95/day. When I got there, they said â€œ no ma'am , we only have a 20 ft. For $39.95/day. She was nice enough to waive the extra charge but I was still inconvenienced the charge of the extra mileage because of someone else's mistake!!! We were set to close on our new home after picking up the truck and when we arrived to closing, realized she didn't give us back our drivers license after making a copy!!!! We called them and she was gone! Not happy!!! It was 4:00 in the afternoon on a weekday. They close at 5:00. When we went to return the truck the following â€œ by 4:00 we were toldâ€ NO one was there AGAIN!!!!!!! I called her and she did meet my husband there but he had to wait for her to get there. Again, this was 4:00 on a weekday and supposed to be open till 5:00. I have had to use moving trucks before and never has my experience been like this one!! Never again!!! Sorry!!!Kathy G.

I was charged for a missing blanket. I rented two dozen blankets BUT I did NOT count to make sure they were all there. The blankets did not even leave the trailer and were all used to protect our furniture, folded and left in the trailer for return. Dropped off a couple hours after my drop off time. Employeee was unable to use the computer and return it in the system. This was on a Friday. I get an email Monday morning with a 2 day late fee because it was never returned in the computer. Still got charged for returning it a couple hours late but got refunded the extra day back. Initial service wasn't the best but the manager quickly fixed the problem.Darren K.

The people who took the uhaul back were extremely rude. They called me and told me the uhaul didn't have enough gas and was dirty and they were going to charge my credit card for gas and cleaning. Being that we had returned it early we still had time on our 24 hour rental, so my husband went over to the storage place to "clean" it out, even though he swept it before we returned it. He also tried to tell the intake people how the gas was back to where we picked it up at. They were very rude about everything, and said the truck needed to be "scrubbed clean." They ended up charging my credit card $37.94 extra. My personal opinion is that the guy in Chalmette where we picked up the truck was very relaxed and not overly concerned about they way the rental transaction went and these people were extremists who no matter what you did it wasn't going to be good enough for them. For example: Chalmette uhaul representative- opens uhauls back door for us to look inside and says "see no dead body" and closes the door. Covington uhual representative- opens the back door and says he is going to have to scrub the floors, even though we swept. Chalmette- when turning on the truck, my father who was driving noticed the gas was a little below the 1/2 tank mark, we told the uhual representative and he told us "oh it's close enough." Covington- when we returned it in the same place, we were charged $12.84 for gas.vanessa L.

This center is too small to accommodate after hours drop off of equipment. There are a total of two parking spaces after which you are blocking the entrance to the storage center itself.Tracy E.
We filled the tank until it clicked off then put in a couple squirts more. Came back that the tank wasn't full which is impossible. good luck putting more gas in. feeling kinda ripped off.bonita J.
