Have more supplies available such as furniture pads and dollies. The location had ran out of the type of dolly I needed by the time I arrived for my 2pm pick up. Otherwise, everything else went well.NEFERTARIC G.
Some sort of customer service would be good. I was handed the keys with the sentence: Van's outside. Which one of the four vans is it? Had to go and try the key on all of them to find out. After checking damage and mileage, I only found out on the road that the right signal in the back wasn't working. Very dangerous when switching lanes, making turns, etc.Dominik E.
I was charged a cleaning fee for a vehicle that was not clean in the first place and had a terrible odor. I submitted photos regarding this matter to no response. I usually use u-haul for my moving needs but am reconsidering this going forward.Robyn B.

The vehicle was DISGUSTING - I got sticky mucus on my hand when touching the dashboard. The vehicle also smelled of dead bodies. The vehicle was missing both the dolly and furniture pads that I paid for which in turn caused a MAJOR delay in my move. The app didn't work properly during pickup so I was not given an opportunity to enter mileage, gas, or survey the vehicle damage. Very poor experience, I will not be renting a Uhaul van for my next move due to the quality of this experience.Daniel G.

The van was not cleaned out properly. When arriving to my destination I noticed two crack pipes under the passengers seat. YES TWO CRACK PIPES. I AM DISGUSTED AND WOUKD NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN. I SPENT OVET $500! I DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE A PROPER APOLOGY OR DISCOUNT. NOTHING!!Lee Q.

I had to wait over an hour for my rental as the keys were not there at pick-up. Also, many of the moving supplies I ordered online were unavailable at time of pick-up. Very unfortunate experience.Stephen S.
I originally made a reservation for a different site in Brooklyn but got an email immediately afterward saying no trucks were available and the reservation was changed to this (Armida Service Station) location, which was not at all far away from where I originally chose. Then there was a major snow storm and I couldn't rent on the day I wanted. The day before my reservation I switched it online to a later date with no problem. On the new day there was still a very lot of snow on the streets and parking was a major challenge, so I arrived to pick up the truck 2 hours after I originally reserved. Nonetheless, the truck I reserved was ready and my in-person pickup went very smoothly. Masks were required for customers and worn by employees and the clerk was behind a plexiglass screen -- all good. The truck was easy to get to, was clean and in good condition, except for an overpowering marijuana aroma in the cab, which was not the fault of U-Haul. I returned the truck after regular business hours, but I had been given instructions to return the key to the gas station clerk if I returned late. I had to struggle to find a parking space given all the snow, but was able to park the truck just down the street from the station and turn the key in to the clerk. The following day I got an email invoice for exactly the agreed-upon rate, taking into account the actual miles I drove and the fact that I returned the gas tank full. Had a very nasty inpatient dispatcher that looks like he didn't like his job Vehicle had a check engine light on On return had to wait long time for getting final Bill Had to come twice day after day since the dispatcher said â€œ he dont have the truck avail even though I booklet it online I reserved again with customer service and for day after and again he could â€œsee â€œ my reservation and about to send me home again Till had out central boinking on phone with him I lost time money and hires labor that I had to pay even though I ha d no truck to work with Really bad coordination drive and equipment I rate it as 0Darren G.
Overall the vehicle and equipment were well kept. However, my only issues was charged for 10 furniture pads that I never purchased and also wasn't present in the vehicle at the time of moving. Also, the transparency with details. I was charged for a whole second day of service because I was 2 hours over the time I was suppose to return the truck and when I called and tried to sort all of this out nothing was really explained to me.Tauren J.
