They don't know how to work the system. If you have a reservation on hold they pretend they can't find it to start a new order and it charges you twice. They are a bunch of crooks.St P.

This was the first time I rent a truck but the attendant made it very easy for me he explained the process for reserving a truck and when I came to pick the truck up their was no weight and on return it was just as easy will definitely rent again thank you U haul fir making my travels easyROSHADANDREW T.
It was fine. The drop off situation was supremely annoying though given they don't have reserved parking spots for their trucks. Spent 30 minutes driving around in circles trying to find a spot to leave their truck at 11pm.Jarrett C.

The truck was not well maintained. The tire pressure was low, the check engine light was on, and the passenger door would not close securely. Communication with representatives was short and unclear. The service was very expensive. I understated how far we would be traveling and after a day of getting furniture in NYC our bill was over $100. A far cry from the $20 starting price that is advertised.Kirk A.

The truck I reserved wasn't available so I had to take a smaller truck, which disrupted my entire move. Staff was kind and did what they could to remedy the situation as fast as possible, it seems like the issue was from the software allowing a single truck to be double booked.JOSEPHMICHAEL R.
First of all, when I signed for the vehicle, there was no real thorough examination of the vehicle with a U haul rep. Secondly, when I returned, there was not inspection of the vehicle. A lady behind a window glass asked for the key and my transaction was left incomplete. I DO NOT appreciate this as a consumer. I still haven't received any information from U haul about my final bill. I did everything on my part to ensure the vehicle was refilled with fuel, cleaned from my mess and safely operated. To be left in limbo is not only wrong, but I do not believe it's legal. The transaction should always be finished before the consumer leaves the premises. In this case it wasn't and I have no idea what my final charges are. I will be speaking to someone about this. In closing, if I find any misrepresentation occurred on the part of U haul charging my account, I will dispute and counter. Thank you for your kind survey. I look forward to hearing back from you. If I do not, it will just show how inept U Haul and it's representatives has become. This needs to be fixed because it comes across at "rigged". Classic bait and switch move here... you took my reservation for one piece of equipment at a location walking distance from my house. Then the equipment is not available at all... and I'm moved to a new location nearly 40 minutes from my location.. thus adding milage to my trip which you charged me for.. also because the vehicle provided was inadequate.. it required me to make multiple trips moving across town.. again adding in more milage that you charge for I wish corporate enterprise gave any consideration for the CUSTOMER who supports the business ..DANIELJAMES S.

Reserved dolly, hand truck and blankets a couple weeks in advance of booking and when I arrived at the place, they told me they do not have any more. The personnel was not very helpful and just handed me the key and said go find the truck. So we were basically on a scavenger hunt trying to locate the truck. We could not find it so were went back to the office and told them. The guy told us it's 2 blocks down so we had to walk and find it which was ridiculous. Terrible service.ERROL M.
Terrible. My original rent size was not available and neither was the hand truck. My tank was less than half and was told to just return with the same amount gas and was still charged for fuel. Van was disgusting smelled like weed and was covered with oil and wet in the back. Had to cover up floor so my cargo would not get damaged.Then was told to return after hours and was not told about mobile option to save me the 20 dollar convience.VANESSA T.
