My rental was not at the original location but I was never contacted. The second place had no blankets, but I wasn’t given any by the first location. The staff at each location were great but your system seems less than perfected.

I was denied on the first attempt to check in online due to a mistake thinking that my license was expired. I called the support rep provided as a reference (Logan) and he was able to sort us out within about 5 minutes. If not for that hiccup it would have been a flawless experience. Kudos to Logan for his professionalism and responsiveness.

Location and staff were great and very helpful but over the phone U-Haul customer service was horrible.

I called on a Friday for a truck on Sunday. I wanted a 9am pickup but needed a full day. I was not aware that I could arrange a pickup online without the location being open at pickup time. When I called Friday, no one answered but Chris promptly returned my call. I explained what I needed and he advised that if we came in between 3pm and 4pm Saturday when they closed we could keep the truck until Monday morning as long as it was returned before they opened and I would be charged for 1 day rental. When my boyfriend went in at 3pm on Saturday it was highly inconvenient for him but we did it anyway. When he arrived he the manager there indicated that we would be charged 2 days rental if we took the truck now. They called me and I explained what Chris had told me the day before. He would not honor what Chris had said and advised we could do a 9am Sunday to 9am Monday rental if we did it online. We agreed to that. Why Chris didn't tell me that on Friday is a mystery to me. However, my boyfriend called and set it up for Sunday 9am but then it only showed as a 6hour rental in the reservation email i received. So he called back and it was changed to 24 hours. We arrived a little after 10am on Sunday. You have to be at the location to check in as it uses your phone location so i couldn't do it earlier in the morning. We found the truck and followed the online check in instructions. These were very clear and easy to follow. We took pictures as instructed to do. When we got to the end, it said awaiting approval. It didn't say why. There was a place to chat with customer service and a phone number. I tried 3 times over the next 20 minutes to get someone on the chat and never got a response. Meanwhile my boyfriend called the phone number listed. He waited 10 minutes for a representative to answer. He explained what was going on and she said we needed to speak to someone else. So she transferred us (remember we are calling the number that was provided in the ap at the page where we were awaiting approval). Instead of going straight through we were put back in queue and had to wait another 15 minutes. We finally got someone live because they called us on his phone while we were still waiting. They apparently needed to verify that the 2nd contact number I provided (his phone) was ok. I validated that and she was about to hang up when I quickly stated dont hang up as we were at the location trying to get the truck and were unable to get anyone to help us past the awaiting approval spot on the app. She rudely indicated that it would be released as soon as we hung up because they needed the alternative contact validated for it to be concluded. As soon as we hung up, the app did continue and we were able to obtain the location of the keys albeit 25 minutes after starting. There were many opportunities for improvement here. 1. He shouldn't have told me to come in on Saturday if that information was not correct. 2. The agreement should have been
