engin light a on . key was not match padlock i have to buy padlock to safe my belonging light inside cargo and cab was not working i did call emergency road assistance no one care i drop truck 15 hours earlier and i was promised i have small truck for next day . that was not down and they did not give me any truck for rest of my moving any way bad experience abut uhaul i going to have and i will telling others to know abut the service you have

I had booked a week ago for a 15 foot truck. I got called the day before that they were only going to give me a van. I had to rent 2 other vehicles in order to move in the short time frame I had for the elevator I booked in my building. I asked the guy when he called me if he can help me out with a deal since I’m being told in such short notice. This move had caused me a great deal of stress. I have talked poorly about uhall to everyone at my work and all my friends and family. I’m so disappointed and I will never use this again.

Walk people through the online return process and make sure their phone is detecting location services. It was hell! My phone wouldn't detect my location, so I had to phone customer service, and was stuck on hold for nearly an hour while shivering away in the minus 3 temperatures, The operator and I finally figured out how to fix the problem and then the rest was relatively easy.

Rented a 10' truck and after driving 30 mins I found the engine has a loud bang sound and the engine light went on, so I drove the truck back to the same Uhaul location for a swap. The location agent first didn't care and then after I dial the customer toll-free line and had the phone agent talking to the location agent, she agreed on a swap but I had to pay the milages on the first truck. Question is that the fault was on the truck not me so why I had to pay for it. Not to mention that I lost an hour time to drive the first truck back.

Both your customer service girls where great they need a raise excellent customer service people the only thing I can think of to improve is have the truck full of fuel prior to pick up much easier to fuel at end of day as opposed to 7 am at pick up

The customer service here was the worst I've ever had. Personally I would fire the girl at the front desk. Lied to me, then had to back track cuz her second lie contradicted her first one. Had attitude with me even though she forgot to put a dolly in the truck. Then also forgot to tell me they dont have one, after driving back and wasting gas to get it.

My trailer was given to someone else. I had to drive over town to get a smaller one. Service agents were super short and rude. The rental place didn’t have the parts for my hitch and converter so I had to run to Canadian tire. All in, was a very poor experience. Was told I would get a $50 credit which was not honored yet. Worst part I wasn’t able to pack all our stuff because of the downgrade.

I was told that I could only rent a truck using a smart phone app. Since I don't use a smart phone (and if I did I would not load non-secure 3rd party apps for security and privacy reasons) I will not be able to use UHaul in the future. I was able to this time because the manager used her smart phone to complete the rental.

The customer service is very robotic/rules oriented. No people skills. Do not price gouge your clients e.g. when checking out on the 2nd day of storage automatically charging an entire month storage fee even after a daily rate had been set.
