The truck was empty of fuel, then I was promised to receive a discount of $42.00 for returning it with 1/4 tank. I returned it with 1/4 tank ; the indicator was close to the 1/4 signal but the most rude lady at the counter said that it has to be over a 1/4 to receive the credit. Very disappointed.

All went perfectly fine, just like all other times I have rented U-Haul vehicles and bought merchandise from U-Haul stores. It was my first time at this particular location and now my last! Unfortunately for me, my experience turned negative quickly. When I went to return the truck, there was nobody available to inspect it because the man in charge was out to lunch. I thought it was unusual but since leaving it has never been an issue in the past, I parked it for the lady attendant, told her the gas was the same, and that all was great. What a mistake! A few hours later I received the final bill via email, and my credit card had been charged for unknown gallons of gas and an extra $30 gas fee. It must be a mistake I thought. Today, I wasted precious time to go speak in person to the same lady I rented it from thinking that they had made a mistake. The answer was speak to U-Haul! What? You are the one who made a mistake. Can I speak to your Manager? I am the Manager. And you cannot solve this? No, speak to U-Haul! What kind of customer service is this!!! Luckily, I had taken pictures of odometer before and after my trip, and I had proof they were wrong. ALL BEWARE, DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT FINAL RECEIPT!!! Now, the amazing customer service people of real U-Haul have my complaint, and are diligently investigating.

I rented the truck on Friday August 31st around 1:50 pm. Before I drive it I realized that the gas cap was missing so I went to the office and ask for the cap; Representative from the storage called previous customer that drove the truck, 45 minutes later and with the truck still parked at the storage facilities previous cuatomer returned the gas cap and finally I could start my 24-hours rental, at this point I left the storage facility at 2:45 pm. I returned the truck on Saturday September 1st at 2:30 pm (so, less than 24 hours later), I returned the key and was told that I will received confirmation of the amount charged by email; I was surprised when I received the email that I was charged 2 days instead 1. Please, call the storage place where I rented the truck and verify all this information and also the reason why they deliberately process the return 1 hour later than the real hour and once your investigation is done please refund me accordingly. Thank in advance for your prompt decision.

I cannot stress enough to verify every single thing on mileage, fuel, and anything else they could charge for. I have gotten a bill for more miles than I drove and outrageous fuel issue. I brought it back with needle still on a 1/4 tank. Than I got billed for them saying they had to put fuel in and the convenience charge. All in all I was charged roughly 75 dollars more than should be. I now have to deal with costumer service to try to resolve. Watch your back with this location.
