When a reservation is made almost a month before pick up you'd expect to receive what you reserved. I reserved a 15 foot truck but only had the option of a 10 foot truck. I was told this, THE DAY BEFORE my move. I had no choice but to take the smaller truck. I ended up having to make 2 trips in order to move my home, which cost me over 4 hours of driving back and forth. I will be looking for a different company for my next move.WILLY G.
The trailer I rented did not have working turn signals. The employees asked what I wanted to do. I told them I wanted a trailer with working turn signals. There was not a trailer of the size I rented in stock that was roadworthy. So I asked if they had a bigger trailer with turn signals that did work. They told me they did have one but it would cost me about $10 more to rent that one. ???? I should not as the customer tell them the right thing to do is to offer me a bigger road worthy trailer at the same price. Eventually they agreed and gave me the bigger trailer at the same price, but I don't view that as a great customer experience. Otherwise the trailer was fine and I was able to move my furniture as I expected.CHRISTOPHER D.

I was sent to a drop off location that was not in operation. They had no drop off box available and a sign to not drop off truck. I had to drive 10 miles to another location and was charged for the gas and extra mileage??JOHN D.

I was on the phone (on-hold) for over 6+ hours making my pick-up and drop-off locations three different times. Still the orders got messed up. You sent me to a pick-up location +75 minutes away (rush hour), when three were available within 15 minutes. At pick-up, your employee proceesed the paper work, then wanted to go on break before finishing the transaction. Thank gosh a Manager was there and corrected the situation. Your employee then had no experience getting a car dolly with cargo all hooked up. He had to find someone else. I got charged extra for the personalized hook-up, I really hoped it went to the guy who did the work. Got the cargo unloaded, destination uhaul place had no idea or paper/computer work. They said, no problem, then later, I receive a bill because I did not drop your car dolly at the proper location. What? I already made the verbal confirmation, several times, on the phone with your help desk.Jeannette H.
Although I have given high ratings, my last rental there was an issue with being charged for not filling the tank to the appropriate level. Just before returning, I stopped at a nearby gas station, as I always do, and filled the tank to the line indicated (adding the 7.5 gallons it required). I rent many times a month and do not under fill, ever. Usually, I overfill. So, imagine my surprise when I saw on my receipt I was charged for 2 gallons of gas for $9.00. I messaged Franklin as I was unsuccessful in getting an answer to my repeated calls to the store. Franklin had Job call me and I requested a picture be taken of the gas level before before it goes out again. Although I had 2 missed calls from them yesterday, no message was left and no one has sent me the screenshot of the gas level I requested.KAREN F.
