You charged me 200 km mileage over what I returned it with. You added an extra digit in the odometer reading, which may just be dyslexia but I only used 25 km total. You also charged me for 2 x $19.95, even though I only requested it for 4 hours after you called me and offered I pick it up the day before for the same price, since you said you were closed Saturday.

North Central Automotive was closed on Sunday, there was no sign identifying the drop off box for the keys, I called the posted number and got no response, left a message, my call was never returned. When I called the Uhaul main line to ask for assistance, I was told I would be given another drop off location, with the road condition being icy/extremely poor I decided to risk it and drop the keys in an unmarked mail slot on a nearby garage door, I figured it was either that or a round hole punched throught the brick wall beside the main door. Lastly, this ones on me, the rental unit was given to me with < 5/8 of tank, I returned it completely full (a slight miscalulation when filling the tank on my end) to no surprise no credit was issued.

The north central automotive had no sight saying that. It just looked like a sketchier warehouse and it was scary. The gentleman there was slow and sick. He even asked me to go get the paper out of the printer for him and lightly touched my backside as I walked past to do so. Then the huaul was blinking at me saying that it needed an oil change asap. But I'm a 20 year old woman and I didn't want to go in there again alone. Then I was charge a $10 fee because it. Wasn't full when I brought it back, but it was... I took pictures when I returned it. But I won't go back to get a refund because it was such a bad experience. There was also garbage in the van's front seat. Paper for the last driver, and the back was packed with dirt. I had to sweep it out before I could use it. Overall worst uhaul experience I have had

First of all, when we arrived the truck was not ready and had no gas. They found us a second truck and made us clean it out and clean the ice and snow off. The manager here was absolutely awful and rude when picking it up. The truck was left clean when dropping off... yet I got a call from the manager today. He immediately starting yelling at me saying it was left with garbage and no gas and was charging me for that. This is absolutely not true. No garbage was left at all. I let him talk to my husband and he proceeded to yell at him. After my husband started to say this was not true the manager hung up on him. Would not recommend this place for anyone. It was absolutely and awful experience and I will be fighting for my $25 cleaning fee back.

There must be no 'next customer' to this place. Firstly, when we showed at 9:00 AM, the shop wasn't even open. Then after calling the listed phone number, we finally figured out there is a discreet small entrance. The place is maintained in a terrible fashion. Secondly, we were told (in a very rude fashion as the guys had a rough week) that the truck has been double booked and we need to drop it off an hour earlier than the scheduled time (really?). When I returned the truck at 2:15, I was told that the other guys had cancelled their booking (and you guys didn't have the sense to call me and let me know that I could bring it back later?) Lastly, though I paid for the utility and furniture dolly, when I opened the truck shutters, the dollies were missing (surprise, surprise!! and my arms are still aching to have manually lifted those boxes. I should really be suing U-Haul for all the physical pain I am in). Hang on, the worst is yet to come......the owner called me asking me for the missing dolly and I let him know that it wasn't there. He hung up the phone and yet charged me 14 dollars extra for the dollies. I am still fighting the case... U-Haul and this lousy franchise of theirs need to understand that moving to a new house is already a harrowing experience for the people and it should be not made worse by such worst customer experiences. If you really care for your customers (and the only reason you are in business is because of them) better shape up and bring such lousy franchises to books

The signage for this location is unclear - it was difficult to find the door. Not related to this location: the uhaul guarantee is worthless. I was guaranteed a trailer in Edmonton at 7am at one location but at 7:13 while waiting in the parking lot, received a phone call that the trailer was not available. I had to go to the other end of town to a location that was not open until 9am. This caused a three hour delay including driving time and messed up my schedule for the day which was based on the guarantee. I would avoid using uhaul again if at all possible.

Staff called and was very unprofessional. We told them upon drop off that the bumper was damaged and the manager called back and was very rude and called me an idiot over the phone. Would not recommend this place to anyone else.

They were having a lot of issues with the portal for the rentals which led to some delays in the initial rental and the return process. The staff were both great and took care of my questions and concerns as I noticed after I received the truck that the gas may have been siphoned at some point before I picked it up. I recommend equipping the trucks with a locking gas tank to prevent this from occuring in the future.

We were happy with the pickup location itself and service provided. I was very unhappy when my daughter arrived home and all of her belongings were soaked! I assumed that renting her a large trailer to carry her things would insure they were protected from the environment. It did rain and snow during her drive from Edmonton to Vernon but I feel the trailer should have been dry inside. I'm very disappointed considering how much it cost. Regards Jen

This was my first experience with uhual and I can say that it was the worst experience of my life. My drop off location was changed at 9 in the night and I was not even told about it if I wouldn't have called to confirm. The representative on phone was not having any experience dealing with customers and was totally ignorant which led to many arguments between me and him. The new drop off location where I went to was not having enough parking space to park my 26 feet truck with a auto transport. I HAD TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO REMOVE THAT THING IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT IN THE COLD and it took me 2 useless hours to do being to Edmonton it gave me so bad experience for a start really dont appreciate it.

Telling customers that there is a $130 deposit would be a start, so they don’t show up with $100 being all they have ????? Then telling them to clean the truck, when it wasn’t cleaned, balloons and other garbage in the cab of the truck. And then my buddy rips me off, so I call and I ask if I can fill up the tank the next day and he says “oh yeah come in on Sunday because we’re closing today” so I call today to make sure everything was still good and he’s telling me he’s gunna be charging me etc so Long story short far too much god damn bullshit and miscommunication between customer service and their stores. Lost $120 when I only had $180 to my name rn ?? then lost $60 giving buddy gas money to rip me off, happy housewarming to me ????????????

We returned the truck after hours, and could not find the drop-box initially. In fact, we couldn't find the U-Haul office at first, as it's not well identified with a sign - the only clue you're in the right spot is the U-Haul vehicles parked in a lot and out on the street for a few blocks!. We eventually located a mail slot in what looked like a vehicle bay adjacent to a very plain-Jane door in an unidentified building which had some information about returning keys/contract after hours. Dropped the key & contract in the slot, but really had no clear indication this was correct procedure!
