Booked for pick up at 9am..waited for 1.5 hrs before we got our rental. Had to pay additional charges to our move in monitor as this screwed up our moving schedule.

Originally booked a trailer for pick up at a much closer location for me. Was notified the day before they no longer had a trailer for me but sent me to this alternate location. Was in a bind and needed the trailer. Had to now drive 45 minutes to pick it up, and another to return. Not all the lights worked and the electrical plug was corroded. Overall a poor experience with uhaul in general. Would not be recommending to anyone I know.

This location is terrible, the owner is a cheater, he gave us a 15 feet truck with 1/4 gas, we used it for delivery some beer, just 2 hours from taking the car to return the car, total we drove around 50 kms, we did refilled the gas to 1/4 before return the car and we kept the gas received, second day I found my credit card was charged $63.73, called him and he said he refilled the gas for us and billed to my credit card, how can he do that? I will report this issue to police and my credit card company. It is a big cheating!

The truck came with 1/4 tank of gas to start when I had a longer trip to make. Therefore I had to fill it up more than I would have needed too just to make sure I could get to my new place. So I spent more money then I needed too.

Everything was great, the person who I dealt with was good but only the one thing he did wrong is he didn't ask me for the coverage which I never wanted if it's optional. I was over my work related call so didn't notice that he charged me $15 but still it was his job to offer me the coverage not just to add on his own.

There broken mirror shards in the box, and the cab was covered in dog hair. Check-in took 40 minutes even after doing the online check in the morning of. I was surprised we had to pay for kilometres upfront. I definitely over-estimated the driving and therefore overpaid.

The online booking system was terrible. On the website I booked a truck to be picked up at the Parsons Road location at 9-10am Saturday, and when the confirmation email arrived the next morning it said I had been booked for 4:30pm-5:30pm. What? So I called up the number and said I needed the truck for 9am, the guy made the change to the times and I hung up. But then another confirmation email arrived saying I was now booked in at 9am Saturday for EIGHT HOURS, which is clearly also not right as I only needed it for 1 hour, to pick up a single table. So I called back AGAIN and said I only needed the truck for 1 hour. Again, the guy apologized and said he fixed it. But I never got another confirmation email. When I went to pick up the truck this morning I realized that without it being called out clearly, my pick up location had been changed to 34A avenue instead of Parson's Road which I had requested - looks like the website did this in addition to screwing up my times. So I had to drive out of my way to an inconvenient location with very poor signage to pick up the truck, then when I got it the guy said my fuel was at half full but when I actually started up the truck it was clearly less than half a tank. I ended up putting in $5 gas before returning it just to avoid arguments, which only brought it up to the half tank that it should have been at initially -- I only drove it 16km, I definitely didn't use nearly that much gas. Overall, terrible experience, the website booking screwing up both my time and pickup location was very annoying, and I will probably not use U-haul again.

Your website shows many pickup locations but it took me 5 or 6 different phone calls before I finally got the booking line. One location tole me they are no longer a U-haul outlet! The booking agent knew nothing about our city of Edmonton and told me there were only 2 pickup locations in our city. After we finally found it and found the location it worked very well.

There needs to be a large sign indicating where the office is. Only has a small 8 1/2” x 11” paper on a door. Hard for us older people to see from our vehicle. Lol

We had set it for the self pickup. However, we couldn’t do this as the number on our reservation didn’t match the actual van that was there for us. The employee inside helped us out so it was fine. The van had garbage left in it, reeked of cigarettes, and had some signs of cigarette ash on the ceiling.

Rental was promised for 4:30 PM; received truck at 6:00 PM. This was a very long distance travel without cruise control. Wipers needed replaced and truck had an exhaust leak without sound insulation in the cab. We had a language barrier. Did speak English with heavy accent making communication difficult.

The office is not in the best location for customers to find but the overall experience was great. The owner/operator has great customer service and he represents U-haul very well. I would definitely go back to him for another rental. For me It’s not about the office and how it looks, it’s about customer service and this person has it.

Office location wasn't real easy to find. Uhaul trucks were parked all around on the streets but no real dedicated lot.

The UHaul I rented had a dead battery. It was started by the office person and came with a booster box but I had to hook it up to charger at home to keep it running.I think that there should be a better maintenance program in place.

Tank was under the quarter tank marked on the form did not changed the form also I originally requested a pick up on parsons but got a call to pick up here which was 20 minutes south of my location then I was charged extra kilometres
