After hour pick-up is a joke, and so is customer service to resolve an issue. I never received the ordered dolly.
Joseph HThe location was fine, now try asking about your disastrous rental and return process. Without prior warning, you demand references who you can call immediately? Hertz can rent me a $150,000 car with just a license and credit card, but you can’t rent a truck? The return process required photos, but none of the photos I took were accepted, and there was no explanation of why they weren’t accepted so I could correct it. if you're going to rely on technology, then hire someone who understands user interfaces. This is my final U-Haul rental. I’d rather drive farther and pay more than deal with your unworkable system again.
Ronald FThe technology used for phone checkout was awful. We had trouble receiving required texts. We had to go into the office to get help. It was inconsistent in which phone received the texts. We had trouble getting the process done. It took about a half hour with the office person typing in all the information. Unlocking the lock box was even difficult. Not efficient, lots of room for improvement . Basics are there, execution was poor.
Jeff RI drove a total of maybe 76 miles in the 15' truck I rented. And yet I got charged for 274 miles!!! I ONLY DROVE 15 MINUTES AWAY TWO TIMES!! THERE IS NO GOD DAMN WAY I DROVE 274 MILES!!!! THIS KEY AND LOCK UHAUL IN ENON OHIO IS A RIP OFF! The staff didn't seem to know a god damn thing about how to do the online rental, ended up having to cancel and do an in-person rental and even then they still had issues! DO NOT USE KEY AND LOCK UHAUL!!!!
