This location was terrible and has no business being a u-haul outlet!! The clerk told me that his boss told him he could not and would not accept my truck for return because his location did NOT accept one way returns, even though his location was the one listed on my paperwork! Moreover, I saw his computer and it CLEARLY SAID that they were expecting my truck as a return! He kept telling me I HAD to return it somewhere else. I had already gone to another location mistakenly, and they told me I HAD to return it to the location on my paperwork! I refused to take the truck somewhere else and in the end I had to ABANDON the truck in this location's parking lot and leave the key on this terrible employee's counter despite his whining about "Sir, you can't do this!" I was NOT going to drive the truck all over DFW trying to find somewhere to give the truck back just because this location could not do its job! If they are the return location listed, then they should accept the truck happily and without the kind of stupid hassle that I was faced with! This location should lose its U-haul franchise...absolutely ridiculous! I would give this location ZERO stars if I could. Very stressful experience! And now my e-mail tells me that the location finally, grudgingly, processed my return... and ripped me off for $40 more dollars because I forced them to DO THEIR DAMNED JOB. Disgusting. Terrible employees, terrible manager, terrible experience. Avoid this location if at all possible!!!!DAVIDJ A.

Requested specific type of trailer to haul a refrigerator and requested trailer y'all enough for refrigerator. I got a trailer that was only 4 foot tall which has now caused the refrigerator to not work because it had to be laid on its side to transport. Also, I didn't use the trailer for 2 days and in no way should have had to pay for both days. That is what I would call theft of money because I didn't require the service of the trailer for both days. Also, when a customer says they will call with the drop off location, you don't go back later and tell them where they will be dropping it off. That's not the customer calling you. That's you illegally changing a signed contract without consulting the customer that signed the contract. Had I not gotten the location changed I would have been charged a fine that was not part of the signed contract. It seems U-Haul is more interested in over charging the customer without regard for the customers. I will not recommend your company to anyone that I speak with simply for the way I was treated by the people at the pick up location, rude and ill informed as to the product they are handling, as well as the either incompetence of the customer service employee that I spoke with to book the reservation l, or their lack of desire in their job. When a customer tells you the specific purpose of the trailer, don't sell them a lie and expect the customer to be happy they were cheated and screwed. Also, when someone is disabled and mobility is difficult, there was no person willing to assist me in getting the trailer hooked up to my truck. I had to lift and pull to connect and I only have the use of one leg. The employee knew I was on crutches and unable to walk on my right leg. Yet no one was able to assist me in the hook up?? That's a major issue and problem.Dawn W.
